Random Disconnect

This issue starting happening just today while playing I will get randomly disconnected from server and have to close client and relogin. Issue will happen maybe 5 after logging in or 20 minutes later... Internet connection is fine no issues with other applications. I also tried using .fix from another character

EDIT: Also after getting the disconnected message I'll wait 2-3 minutes before relogging but It'll say User is still logged in so I wait few more seconds and try again. It works then I get failed to connect to game server and have to restart game again then I can login.

I am not sure if this is the problem but it might be, let's do some troubleshooting!

1. What is your Aion Version? ( NCSoft\Aion\Version)

2. Is Aion allowed to run through your firewall/antivirus?

Check your ping, try reconnect, if that doesnt work, repair your client and make a downgrade and try playing again that should work.

 

1. Version is correct:

Version=4.5.0.14

2. No changes in firewall antivirus settings everything is allowed.

It sounds your internet is having issues. When you disconnect from the server and your toon is still online it's usually because your internet stopped responding. After the disconnect open a new game and try to log in, it'll say your toon is already on. Wait for 1 minute and then try to log in again. It should log in normally if you waited and not simple quit your game.

 

I've been able to confirm this by leaving ping running in the background when I disconnect two round-trips are dropped and this is enough to lose the connection... Will have to try and isolate the problem on my end by using a 2nd PC.
