new players guide?

hi,

i am new to this server, is there any new players guide explaining the differences between here and retail and how to get started?
atm im just being overwhelmed by the exp ratio, but dont know how to actually do stuff or get gear or get money. what are credits etc?

Rates on this server are better than on retail.
The difference is just when you join the server Siel, where you have all stigma skills in comparison with the server Lumiel where you'll have to make a stigma tree in order to use some skills.

If you're totally new at Aion, take a look at this forum section, there are plenty of useful guides http://forum.gameznetwork.com/forums/guides.64/

For now, just do some quests, look for a mentor & get level 65. ( http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/guide-power-leveling-in-7-easy-steps-both-factions.111739/ )

Once you're 65, start farming bloodmarks in katalam/danaria with weekly & daily quests so you can buy a set & weapons with it ( http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/guide-how-to-farm-blood-marks.162492/ )

You can get money (kinah) in-game by selling scrolls, potions etc in broker or also by opening boxes in Mixfight (event portal is spawned in sanctum/pandaemonium) and then selling the armor in the general goods merchant.

Credits is the currency in gamez used to buy items in the credit shop. You can get credits by voting or by donating. You can open the credit shop in-game by opening the red kind of bag thing next to your skill bar.
