*Need help connecting to server!*

Hello, I'm new here. I downloaded the stuff you said to in the connection, but I don't know how to change the region since NCSoft launcher is different now! Please if you can help me, that'll be great! I have skype as well if you need to reach me and see my screen whatever!

I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue, allow me to try and help you with fixing this error.

If I am correct, you are experiencing "Not available in your country error?"

Well, first read this guide made by our awesome Senior AM:

The first problem on that guide is what you are experiencing.

May I ask what country you are from?

Did you download the full 27 GB game from NCsoft?

 

I am from US!

And so I need to update it on the NCSoft? Wasn't sure if I was supposed to do this or not! >_<

 

Since you are from the US. These are the steps you need to take to play our server.

Step 1: Download the full game.
....You can do this by click [This Link]. That link will take you to a page where you can download NCSoft Launcher for aion. Install this launcher somewhere on your computer and run it. Allow the launcher to follow download the game which is 9 stages and is over 27 gb.

Step 2: Downgrade the game.
....Read [This Guide] to learn how to downgrade your client to match the version that our server supports.

Step 3: Install Gamez Launcher.
....Download our Launcher from [This Link]. Make sure that the path Matches the exact name of the location of the folder where you installed the game with the NCSoft Launcher. Usually by default, it is Programs(x86)>>NCSoft >> Aion

Step 4: Play the game.
....Run the Gamez Launcher as Administrator. This allows the Launcher to download and install necessary files for you to play the game. After you click start, it should load the game.

Last one, on the changing your country guide!

"go to Aion\L10N, select the folder of the language your windows is using and paste what you have copied in that folder (Ctrl+V)"

Does this mean I need to replace the data folder then with the one I am copying into it?

 

You don't need to do that. That only applies to people who live in Russia, Germany or France. Since you are a US player, the default L10N folder should be correct for you. Which should be 1.76 GB.

 

Oh wonderful! I'll keep you updated after I find out if this download goes smoothly or not! After I post an update, you can delete it, till then if you can keep it up to make sure I am okay, that'd be great !
