Deleting a Character

Does it take 8hrs to delete a char now?

 

lol try going to server selection then reselect your server

 

Just re-log. Pretty much what Kyle said. Already tested, works.

 

Its just weird bcoz before it was just 5mins to delete it now it shows 8hrs. LOL

 

MEh, even with the 5 minute countdown, you still have to go to server selection or restart client or log into another toon in order for you to delete the character. The timer don't really do anything.

 

If you take a closer look on the patch note, you will see it's already mentioned: "Fix character deletion bug - previous chars was deleted directly after relogin on account, without any dependency from deletion time." So yes, you have to wait till 8 hours passed.

 

i cant delete my char and when restart the client it ses u cant create more character anyone knows?

I will have to test it out myself to confirm. IDK what works right now after this patch. I don't have the game downloaded and I haven't read the patch note yet.

I am being told so many different things right now.

 

stil my char wasnt able to delete like when u enter confirm delete it didnt delete what is this shit...

Alright I just tried it out and finally got the answer >.>

Apparently the ONLY thing that worked for me is when I restarted the client, logged on another character and went to character selection again. That way it got deleted instantly.
Changing servers didn't help, and restarting the client didn't help either, for some weird reason. So I guess all you gotta do is restart your client, then login on another character and go to character selection. At that point the deletion time will be reset to 0 and your character will already be deleted.

 

There's an easy way!!

>Select Server.
>Goto lumiel.
>log-in a character.
>wait for 1min.
>Goto Select Character.
>Select Server.
>Goto Siel.

>Congratss ur Character was deleted!!
