New characters missing basic crafting designs

I recently re-created one of my characters so I can use it for crafting only to find out that none of the crafting skills have any basic designs. This is a problem because these designs are automatically learned when you level up the crafting skill so they are unavailable VIA the NPC design seller. It's great having all crafting skills maxed out from the start but without these designs only a handful of designs can be crafted.

Have you checked whether the designs you mentioned are available from the Reshanta custom NPCs?

 

Reshanta NPC only sell Advanced Designs
