Looking for HELP :)

Hey guys I'm new. Just got my gunslinger to 65, (before the update, that is) and i was wondering, the bastion set really lacks in like, everything, and i thought that i ought to ask what is the best pvp set for Soldiers rank 1 and below. I'm still rank 3 I guess. I wanna survive more in PVP's. Coz you know, it's more fun that way. Well, I hope you can help me. Cheers

 

Best if u grabb arbiter set or Amba set since the rank restriction was disable! !

 

It's really gone now? Wow, but, those items are sold in credits right? so they're kinda expensive. What are the more suitable items for players with my "situation"?

 

Get Fierce skirmish set and discordant access u can get it by bloodmark.

To get a decent first PVP set, you can do some weekly blood mark quests in camps at Katalam/Danaria. Check out this guide http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/guide-how-to-farm-blood-marks.162492/
Or slightly better than that is an ACD set, which you can buy from an npc with ap & some mithril medals.

Tho atm the best sets available in-game, without using any credits are the ambassador/shepherd, emissary/custodian sets, which you can buy in Katalam from an npc with some ceramium medals & ap.
Here's a quick calculation.

Custodian Divine/Shepherd's Divine sets:
Torso: 1.259.516 AP 95 Medals (Just noticed @Deathangel; The item prices in-game are bugged and they actually cost less than it's listed at the NPC. Like a tunic costs 1.700.346 AP and 95 medals, according to the NPC. But I just checked on Aion Database, and according to that a tunic costs 1.259.516 AP & 95 medals. So I suppose to buy it here you NEED to have 1.700.346 of AP, but it will only take 1.259.516 AP and leave you with some AP. It won't take 1.7kk like it's listed at the NPC. Please correct me if I'm wrong, it could be that you guys listed items more expensive in AP)
Leggings: 944.645 AP 71 Medals
The rest: 629.774 x3 AP 47x3 Medals
Weapon: 1.889.257 AP 143 Medals
Total amount of AP needed: 4.093.483 AP ( 5.982.740 including the weapon)
Total amount of medals needed: 307 ( 450 including the weapon)

(F.e the farm event IS rewards you with 20 cera, & ts)

In the mean time you try to farm the sets here above, vote or donate to get credits. & try to get some unique items to trade. This way you can get the best set, which is arbiter, and only available in the credit shop.

Cera medals drop in IS?? How do i know the number of cera medals i have???

 

They don't really drop there. You get those once Hyperion is dead.
Just look in LFG. You'll see people saying "recruit alliance" IS. Join the alliance & wait for all of them to enter IS with the event portal in Sanctum/Pandaemonium. I'm sure when you go to Elyos Square or Vilfrost Bridge, you'll see some portals spawned there.

Yes they are. I was able to get custo weapons a few days back :3

 

Sheperd Weapons can be bought in Katalam with Ceramium Medals?!? I tried to buy 1 last time and it says "Some items cannot be sold in this NPC" (something like that). And no, I didn't buy the Elite..just the Sheperd Mace.

 

The unavailability of shep weapons is a known issue and is being fixed atm. Please be patient til then.
