BOX loot?

just wondering if what are the boxes that u can right click and then select what item u need to loot...and what Instance are these boxes will drop...sorry i haven't tried so much PVE ....

I think that would be Danuar Reliquary and Illuminary Obelisk. When you click on the box it lets you choose which parts you want. I'm not sure what other instances have this feature though.

 

Those that you get from normal Infinity Shard are random.
But those you get from doing DR (Danuar Reliquary - in EU Runadium) you get to choose what part you want. It's also harder than Infinity Shard.
You also get to choose what part you want by doing a chain line of quests in Idian Depths, where if you collect 10 hyperion parts (This means you have to do Infinity Shard 10 times) you get an Eternal armor/weapon chest which lets you choose a part. -(Edit: http://aion.mmorpg-life.com/quest/alliance-doomsday-weapon-2/128804/ Here's the quest that lets you do that. There's prerequisite quests before you can do that one though, and they are placed in the side.)
The new Illuminary Obelisk instance in Idian Depths as well lets you pick your own part if you actually complete it, but it's kind of difficult as well. I know Kretia made a guide for it.

so..going inside illuminary obelisk will not let u choose what part u need to loot if u dont do the chain quest?

 

Illuminary Obelisk is completely separate from the other two instances.
The quest's has nothing to do with that instance - so you can enter Illuminary Obelisk and still get to choose what part you want.
The quests i talked about is a side one you can do to get Infinity Shard Eternal gear that let's you choose what you want.

 

ty for the answer sir..last question ..if i hav the IO box can i have the option to select a shield since it is considered as an armor?

 

I'm actually not sure? But you should be able to. I have a box in-game so i can quickly log in and check if that's the case.
Now that i think about it, you get a random box from the boss, and you either get a weapon or an armor chest. I think you can only get the shield from the weapon chest. But I'll log in to check xD

And well I just checked and you don't get shield from the armor box (Illuminary Obelisk)
So you will have to get the weapon box.
