Is it still the same or not ?

I have quitted aion a while ago due to i found PvP more to me dead than it used to be .. I used to see 100 vs 100 or 150 vs 150 and was all balanced in zerking in both sides and fun when i left it was when i waited 3-4 days with not much interesting pvp and with asmodian sides lower than elyos wasn't fun staying in base for couple hours.

So me and my old group decided to go back so i got 2 questions i hope for an answer.

1- How active and side balance is the pvp now ?

2- Maybe a silly question, But Is siel still full with donation zerks ? I was in lumiel and wasn't much about donation groups who own every one in there way .. Like in short is Gamezaion pvp still the same ? fun or lame , Dead or alive ?

 

GamezAion's PvP has changed a lot with the latest updates.
Thanks to our Battleground System we can offer you a lot of alternative PvP, ranging from simple 1vs1 matches to Worldwide FFA.

Looks very interesting yet am a fan of open world pvp that was main reason for me to play aion .. Bgs are common in games now and it's kinda boring to be stuck in such places so please if i may ask additional question.. Did the BGS turn World pvp to dead zone ?

 

Bgs were never a real thing on lumiel, people enter ffa/mix once per week for 30mins and that's it. It's still all world pvp in (surprise, surprise) shitty gelk for the 5th year in a row. Katalam pvp is nonexistent since the precious safezones were modified.

 

Classic open world PvP is still active in zones like Katalam or Danaria on Siel, Gelkmaros on Lumiel.
Another way to enjoy open-world PvP is by joining "Mix Fights". These are particular FFA / Group vs Group battlegrounds are set in an open world map, such as Ishalgen or Verteron, which contains no mobs but plenty of item chests rewarding you with manastones,basic eternal items (good for enchantstone extracting) and various supplements.
You can enter Mix Fight alone or in group. Solo players will receive a special PvP buff allowing them to face small groups of enemies easily, while groups will have to rely on their ability to cooperate.

 

My spiritmaster is on Siel.. Don't you know if siel still have that old style 50 vs 50 pvp ? last time i left lumiel it had the pvp in it but was dead in towns .. I left it before 4.5 .. I have no idea what happened to siel and lumiel now.. If you recently transefered from any server to another you can suggest to me.

 

Good to know siel still got kata and dana alive .. Thank you that did help me alot.. I will download the client back to gamezaion again.. I will just ask one simple silly question last one just to go on to my download.. Is there is still no balance in asmodian and elyos numbers ?

 

Factions on Siel are more balanced now, you can easily find 200+ players of each side.

 

Same for lumiel, 40-45 per side.
Do keep in mind Lumiel got moved over to an EU host and you'd have faster ping if you're in that area

 

Is there is a wipe ? Am checking my account inventory from the site and it appears that nothing is there .. so what happened ?
