New Character

Started new character level 60 but all starter gear is grayed out only things not is starter greatsword and polearm and I cannot equip either

 

I haven't created a new toon when the new starter gear was released. I believe the new gear is level 65 and in order for you to wear it (if it is not already on the toon already) you need to be level 65.

Also, we have an Items.pak file that you need to have installed in order to eliminate rank restrictions. I don't remember what set was given to new players.

Hmm. I seen this before. But I don't remember why or how it happened and how I fixed it. The last time I personally saw this was when it happened to me back in 2.5.

Can you try to make a new character and see if this same issue happens?

Hmm, another familiar error I got before on 2.5 >.< but I forgot how to fix it.

When was the last time you restarted your client? Try changing servers or restarting your client.

maybe u need repair the client

 

this is a fresh update and i've restarted client multiple times. think my client version might be off

 

The current retail version of the game should work with the server.

If not, here are a few of my files that should help you get to a lower version.

I am glad it works. And what you mean you cannot see your Animation?

Hmm, I think I might have to give you a few other folders as well since I think there are more folders that are involved when it comes to downgrading. This is not an official downgrade, I just uploaded 3 folders on my client. I might have to upload my skills and Levels folders as well but it may take a while.

 

Animation of skills changed in 4.7. If you updated your client, then that is the problem. For now, play with a part of Kyle's files. But do update your client again, once the downgrade which is being made has been posted.

There should be a guide when its done. I think we are done. Right now we just doing alot of tests.
