Problem Updating

Hi there ,
My boyfriend and i both have the same problem when updating... We get to stage 3 98% and it doesn't wanna update any more than that, says
[Update error] Cannot download file.
Please restart the launcher. If this problem persists, please contact Customer Support at http://us.ncsoft.com/en/support/.

We restarted the patcher and repaired the files like a billion times and we don't know what to do other than delete everything and start over which is kind of not an option since it just takes too long... Any other solutions?

 

Hiya, what directory are you trying to install the game to? What version of windows have you got?

I am going to assume you are using windows 7. Let the game install into your usual C directory , program files etc etc. Usually on some 64bit operating systems the game tends not to download after a specific percentage, however this can be solved by just restarting your launcher (best to end it from processes) whenever this happens.

I'm also having the same problem. I spoke with Kyle about it and he's gonna research more with that kind of error. I believe it has something to do with Internet connection, router, IP address, firewall etc. I have tried disabling my firewall. Still fails... Also, I've tried to search on the net for solutions to it. Still can't find the right one...*sigh

 

Hello...

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this issue.... I updated Aion to 4.7 and Gamezaion....
Now I am not able to equip items...
item prices appear as 3,565,454,264,647,456,345,345.....
my wings (Hyperion) are gone, along with all my accessories....
my equipped armor is present. However, none of the stats are taking affect....
the game crashes when I attempt to view a private store....
However... my gamezaion account inventory shows all my equipment as being present.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

This should be fixed with the downgrade that's coming up. Please be patient until then.

The downgrade will be made by Gamez staff, I know Saruayu has been working on it, at the moment it's at it's testing phase so just have some patience please.

 

Step 1: Download this file- http/www.mediafire.com/download/i5ay3 ... gue_li.bik
Step 2: Go to Aion > L10 > enu > data
Step 3: Create "cutscene" folder, then within that folder create "movie" folder
Step 4: Place mv_prologue_li into your movie folder
Step 5: Run File Repair on your Launcher

And enjoy not being able to play cause you weren't supposed to update the client.

I have the same problem as Sovrazen, do u know when the downgrade will be available ?
Current version: 4.7.0.0

 

It's almost done. Shouldn't be long but Idk the exact time. Just be patient please

 

Thats a problem from NCSoft, anyway, if you was playing on 4.7 you could just ignore it and open your Aion (or do what grrr said on his post, btw thanks Grrr ^^) but you need a downgrade your client to 4.5 cause Gamez still in 4.5 version.

Illusions is at school right now and Dementa works on the community forums. They are Forum Moderators. They are not involved in GamezAion affairs but they do choose to participate in helping players while there is a lack of aion staff at the moment.

In the 18 minutes between when you sent me the PM and when you posted this message, I happened to be eating lunch. I am only human, I cannot give people immediate responses to every PM they send me. I'll tell you what though, I probably would have replied with the same thing that Kyle said anyway. I'm not involved in fixing the client so don't direct questions towards me about it.

 

Ye, im pretty sure Illusions was eating to, cuz he just replyed to a friend mine like 1min before i ask him. If you was eating, then you should say "sorry i was eating", and not giving me a rude answer like that, and if you was afk, then you should not be online, cause i don't know when you are on computer or not, im not a magician...
