Items vanishing out of thin air

Hi, so a couple of people I know have both lost their woc1 due to some out of nowhere bs.
The first person was going to put their woc in their account warehouse to log another character to equip it and play on that character, but the wings just decided to get erased from existance, apparently.
The second person just simply unequipped their wings, and instead of it going back to their character's inventory, it vanished out of thin air.

Anyone know what exactly is going on with this? And why only wings? Could they possibly be able to get their wings back (well the first person was given wings back from a friend who had to buy them for them) or do they need proof of their wings disappearing? Cause I'd love to see how you'd get proof of that when it's an out of nowhere, split second thing that you didn't expect.

Also, someone else I know was in an alliance, I restarted my pc due to lag and got kicked from the alliance, when I got back on they couldn't invite me back to the alliance, so they tried to log out to fix it. They couldn't log out for some reason, so they used task manager to force close Aion. Now they're unable to get past the tos screen and their character is still logged in. Are they going to be stuck there until that server restart crap or :\
Edit: Okay so I just looked back on Aion and the character is logged out now, still not sure if they can log yet as I haven't been updated on it, so that's a good thing right 8D;

 

Okay nvm the person was able to log back in, and person #2 who lost their wings found them in their account warehouse

It does happen with random items.

It's rare but it happens.
