updated stucked

my update stuck at 9% (862 mb/4.04 gb) .... it always have an error that pops up, it says something can't download a specific file ..... and then i press confirm and update again and then another cant donwload a file but with a new filename in it...

THIS UPDATE MAKES ME QUIT GAMEZ . . . . . LOL

Can you do repair file and then update? or cant?.......

 

i did both repair and update but still the same error..aion still finds an error about a file that cannot be downloaded...

 

look for the file in the $patch$/60/patch/zip folder, delete it and resume updating.

 

i hav 3.9gb of files in the zip folder.... if i delete it maybe u mean i will redownload those files again?

 

you get an error while updating right? does it tell you that a certain file cannot update because its being blocked or something? you have to navigate to that file in the $patch$/60/patch/zip folder and delete it. ONLY THE FILE THATS BEING BLOCKED, not the entire ZIP folder.

 

that's very clear now sir ^^ ... but i got different files that cannot be downloaded one after another . . . and i need to click confirm and click updated to resume .. . . . i just wnt a smooth update coz ive worked everyday and i need to leave my pc updating without pressing anything...

 

Ok, try deleting the folder that has the blocked file in it. The entire folder this time not just the file.

 

i will try that sir..ill just w8 for an error again. . . . . . y does this update is not as easy as some previous updates or just me only

can u tell me what is the filename? i can help u with.. anyway if u delete the X folder where is error update will work just fine after

 

every error hav different filename sir... as dondee says ima navigate those file in the zip folder but it doesn't exist yet...HGM Puddles told me i maybe having issue with my internet connection... its been 2days i tried updating my client with no success...always stucked with those errors...

if gamez would have a torrent file (not like the torrent ncsoft is downloading) with the full %Patch% folder to avoid having this error everytime..its very disappointing coz i leave my pc updating b4 i work and when i went home it stuck with that error again.

I tried updating the game, all good, tried running the game, kept crushing.

How I solved this problem? Uninstalled the game and moved on

man just get a SS of the error and i tell u what to delete lol ofc the file didnt exist that s why u get error upload SS with the name of missing file

 

i got many files cannot be downloaded error sir...one after another...different filenames ...its under Levels, objects, sounds folder under the zip files .........
if i will SS all of them its hard to upload sir...

 

just delete whole folders wich give u error with missing files. level / objects/ sounds and any other. and the update will redownload them .only thing u have to do is to delete the whole folder with missing filles

 

ahm ok sir...ill try that . . . .but i noticed after hitting file repair some of my aion folders are missing and i got only 5gb in total in my Aion folder where im updating..is that normal..i ddnt delete anything..it happens to me 3 times now...

 

it happen to me ...when i change the install location....it completly deleted all my files^^ anyway if is 5 gb only u better delete it and install a fresh game and u can sleep well till the download is done

 

so what u did when it deleted all ur files sir? did u fresh install aion during this update?
