Can't see my character, floating Head

My problem is that when I create the character in the character creating panel as well as in the game all I can see is floating head and hair ! Please what do I have to do to fix it.

 

Open the NCSoft Launcher & repair your client. It's missing some files.

To fix this issues delete the folder Data in your aion folder. And Go to NCSOFT launcher and repair the client, you will download 448mb off file and then start the game. If this does not work try either updating your graphics drivers, and/or a fresh install.

 

i have the same problem, when i opened the ncsoft launcher i didn't even have the 'repair' option it just starting updating the entire game again.
Really lame cause i finally started up the game and then this crap happens.

 

You guys need to be sure that the update is complete.
Go to your Aion forlder and check the file named Version.ini ; It should say Version: 4.7.0.6
If it doesnt show that. Open the NCsoft launcher and you should be able to Update.
Thats how the No head problem gets solved.
Else Reinstall complete aion. Something might be wrong at your clients. That nor the update or the Repair Solves the problem

 

yeah i think sparky has the same issue as mine.
when i finished downloading and installing aion it said play for me so i took the presumption that it was closed.

But apparently we need to restart the launcher and it updates another 2500 files lmao.
