so here i am in a IS run and these guys have no SW no cler and nub tanks! So it comes to the point where i have to tank this bitch ( p.s sorry if it is bad quality or fps )

LOL i joined last min XD and as soon as a joined it started and i looked around and no heals nor SW XD

 

So the only conclusion i came up with is that you don't need cleric,SW and tank to run IS and to actually finish it and get all the thingies at the end Jokes aside i do remember the time when we did pretty hard bosses without SW using only pots and by "sitting" for MP

 

lol yea true but the funny thing is that these guys wanted me to heal and that = mana burn and without sw = fail lol and eventually i out dps the glads and tank luckily we had another chant that healed sorta

Indeed. As long as someone kills the ide, it's chill. There's no need for pro cleric and tank in IS. If the dps are noobish too tho, and he goes down slowly, then, Houston, we have a problem. Back in the days, like you said, we killed harder bosses w/o sw, using pots. I play sorc which is a mana drainer, yet I got no problem, while some gladis whine about mana haha. Today ppl just got so lazy with crafting pots.

 

Sorcerers unlike glads have Absorb energy/Gain mana/Refracting shard/Soul absorbtion (4 skills that help you controll your mana) which is more than enough to have quite a high mana without needing to ask a songwhiner to heal it, 2/3 damage skills then Refracting shard and you're full again. Gladiators dont have skills that would gain us mana, only hp, so mostly relying on mana pots/mana treatment.

 

Question is: What glad skills against boss, unless mobbing but other than that; Dual Sword/Mace ftw or gtfo.

Yeah, well I know how to maintain my mana, in pve anyway. It doesn't really matter if it was a gladi, or another sorc, sm or whatnot. I'm simply pointing out, that there was a time, a world, before songweavers even existed, and we did fine, while now ppl have gotten lazy.

 

yes true ^ but this boss does a mana wipe so yeah that is where a SW comes in so even if you could maintain your mana all the guy has to do is a mana wipe XD

 

When I was part of staff here I seen some people taking screen shots or videos reporting others while they had a hack or two running in the task bar haha

Windows 8 isn't actually that bad if you disable some services and customize it a little. It can run faster than Windows 7 if you know how.

Really? Pls share the knowledge! I have windows 8 and every minute of our relationship has been pure agony. I have uninstalled all the "apps" and set the performance settings, but it's still slow and sometimes it just freezes up for a millisecond every now and then.
