Solved cant join server.

hi i need help, after i select a server and nothing happens.

 

Do you have any ping reducers or anti virus software running?

If so. Disable them and try again. Also, what version is your client? ​

client version is 4.5 i think

 

If your client is 4.5 then you need to update.

Go to the official aion shortcut And launch it. Let the game update. Then after you update to 4.7, follow the items.pak instructions,

Wait, are you using the Gameforge client to connect to Gamez Aion? Because if this is so, you can't do that as Gameforge is not compatible with Gamez Aion. Is this the case?

What version of Aion do you have. Open your main aion folder then the version file.

Please make sure you have downloaded the NCSoft Launcher in the first place. When you are done with downloading (needs to be fully downloaded and installed), you need to install the Gamez Launcher (http://gamezaion.com/Gamez Aion Installer.exe). Apply the downgrade (http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/gamezaion-downgrade-version-4-7-5-0-4-7-0-8.186209/) and the latest item.pak (http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/official-aion-4-7-0-6-item-pak.185075/).

If you have followed those few steps, you should be fine. Please do not use the Gameforge client for Gamez Aion, because it's not going to work. If you need any help, let me know here on this thread or PM me on forum! :3

 

i uninstall the gameforge aion first.

 

I am positive that this guide (originally written by TheUnderdog) could also help you change from Gameforge to the correct NCSoft client without having to reinstall the whole game, you might want to give it a try however I'm not sure if it still works.

This would cause restricted use of our Gamez features, which is sad and very uncomfortable for the player and I'm not even sure if it still works as NCSoft changed so many things. So I would really suggest you to play with the NCSoft Launcher and the Gamez Launcher. Wouldn't cause you such a headache. x3

 

Oh I'm not suggesting for everyone to go download the gameforge D: I just remember that people could change from gameforge to NCSoft without having the need to reinstall the whole game, and this is why I left a "maybe" in there since I wasn't sure if it would still work ;/
