2 critical dmg on Templar... seriously wtf

Hey guys!

Yesterday I was hunting in heiron with my assassin and my ranger buddy was with me and we found a templar... we attacked it, and we were doing like 1 dmg on him with every hit... 2 when it crited... joke is that he had only that 3 chanter buff on himself and a running scroll... I have +15 dagger/+15 sword combo, full attack manastones in my gear and an ABG necklace... and I still did 1 dmg... so seriously wtf? They hit hard, they are indestructible... arent templars a bit OP? I dont think I'm overlooking something, but if u know why I did 1 dmg on him, let me know, cuz I ****in feel that the game is unbalanced right now.

 

templar buff r like ******* not only that they got skills that heal almost full hp. if that not hard eough shield make their block like 2k+ so 1-2 dmg is pretty normal w/o any buff on the shield is the most annyoing part. well i just saying from my encounter with them also ncsoft seriously got problem with making classes balance. even templar r tanker they not just tanker they "are" tanks like those 2 ton war machine

 

First time i heard this, I seen Templars go down, not easy but that;s the point of a defence class.

 

Try playing a Gladiator, they hit hard enough...

i had a templar , full ABg and shit ... got bored of it cause i was killing pretty hard , chanters and clerics were healing themselves more than i could damage , lol
BUT , it`s like 95% win vs sorcs / sm if you`re not retarded or extremly unlucky , same percentage vs assasins as well ... no matter of their gear

About the armor , even without buffs , anuhart people could hit me 1-2 damage most of them time with normal attack , and very low with skills ... i could go afk and eat a whole cheesecake and i would had enaugh time to kill them )

 

See thats what I'm talking about... I have a decent gear, still cant do shit against templar... sin vs templar 1v1: ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN with assassin. I mean we had 2 rangers and 3 assassins in our raid group in heiron and we COULDNT DO SHIT against a single templar... one of the rangers even had ABG bow. Didnt really make a difference. So what can I say... this is sad. I hate whining and shit, but if this goes on many ppl gonna quit or just remake their char to a templar lol. I'm gonna get full AGB jewelry soon, I'm curious if I gonna surpass the 1 dmg to 3-4 dmg with that XD

 

Your going to quit the game because classes that take tremondous skill and gear to play beat you, If thats your philosophy then please go.

 

well dude , when it`s about same gear it`s easy to kill a templar , you`ll need just mana pots , haha
So your anuhart templar won`t tank more than 30 seconds vs a good gladiator ... you`re just doing it wrong .

 

No, I will not quit, but I hate games where u need to spend ****in months to get a good gear, else u cant do shit is pvp. Thats not what I would call fun, that what I call shit. Typical example is Guild Wars where ur skill with a class was the most important thing in the game, not how many months did you spend to get a good equipment so u can pwn everyone even if u're a noob lol

 

Now really...Anuhart is really decent and extremely easily attainable. It pretty much handed to you. From that you work your way up.

 

Assassins are more skill based than templars tbh. But that's not the case. As I'm a ranger, a goddamn heavy DPS class, there is no way in hell, with the 2nd best bow in the game to inflict 1-2 dmg on a character, no matter what skill they use. Maybe(!) if he blocks, but he was not blocking all my attacks. So don't try to amaze me with fairy tales about templars and their reliance on player skill. It's just complete bullsh*t.

Edit: what if I had the Archon Brigade generals bow? +xx% dmg vs player + maybe 50 attack difference. Seriously. Maybe I could do over 60 dmg with it, awesome.

 

Ye thats right, and so is tahabata, but pvp gear does take a while to get, and as you can see I cant do shit to templar with pvp gear with my fully enchanted anuhart/tahabata gear, even tho i have ABG necklace.

 

Ok time to reveal something shocking, Templars can buff themselves for 30s, to receive 0 damage WOW THERES NO WAY HE USED THAT WHEN YOU TRIED TO KILL HIM and yes, i saw you say he only had a couple buffs on him. Maybe you missed it? And if you were hitting the templar when there was a chanter right there.....Ugh quit now please.

 

yeah, and there was also a whole army behind him, around 5 clerics and he was not wearing a sword+shield combo, But a shield+shield combo. yay. I know what I've seen. I got ganked by templars and chanters alike, so this is not whining or such sh*t. a 5 man party could not harm this mofo.

 

use magic based attacks like agony rune and stuffs, it maybe low damage but it helps ditching out chunks of hp even with the ridiculous pdef and btw never try hitting a temp when he activates emperean armor(KITE around), when you manage to 1/4 the hp of the temp which prolly hed use his full heal silence him... blind the templar with weaves(blind gs)... i have mastarius set an eat swd and dagger... and can beat the crap out of a full abg templar... -.-

 

lol just for ur information we were hitting that templar for minutes..not 30 sec lol. And there was no chanter there, so dont know wtf are u talking about, he was only buffed.

lol usually i can beat templars too, thats not my point, my point is that 1-2 dmg is ridiculous... and yeah I know how templars work ty, I have one myself, and he didnt even had empyrian armor on, only the 2 chanter buffs that last 60 mins, one hp and one def, and the other 30 min lasting hp buff.

 

if the assassin is not stuid , he can get 20% of blind chanches and kill you only using rune skills...

if the templar realy know to play .. sorry no way to beat him as a assassin...

 

yeah i do 1-2 damage with normal attacks too cause full abg temps have ridiculous def and block rate ^^... my skills damage around 500-1.2k though(critical)...

 

Meanwhile my much more powerful ranger skills could do 2-4 dmg on this particular one.

Please note this thread is not about templars being OP (they are, though) or templar vs assassin, but this particular man, a 5 man party could not harm. At all.

 

Well I used runes on him, didnt do much dmg to him either... and he can use hp potions, has healing skill... so even if he doesnt use these it would take a while to kill him and I bet someone would come and help him anyways.
