I'll share some food from my hometown (Utica, NY)! Riggies! Rigatoni pasta, vodka sauce with chicken, peppers, onions, olives, mushrooms, spices, etc (most if it is optional take what you want.) Put some parmesan cheese on it.. Mmm. My father makes this very often since we all love it. ;o

Today I will try to make some "beer sweets". A friend of mine offered me once and I have to admit that they were quite tasty. And yes, you put some beer in them!

Italian food has all the same ingredients, I mean really ;p.

Nah, really though, the sauce we put on pizza is different. We also don't often put chicken on pizza (mostly sausage or pepperoni). Also mozzarella cheese and not parmesan. xD Of course riggies are a pasta dish so there's that too.

    Have a super detailed picture.

Just because something has vodka in it doesn't mean you will like it just because you love vodka.

I like watermelon and dad made me a summer salad which had watermelon in it and I didn't like it, it also had feta cheese and other fresh summery ingredients.

Obviously he was just messin' the vodka is cooked out of it for the most part regardless, just like most other alcohol in cooking.

I love to bake & I'm gonna share some of the things I've made *w*

In Belgium we call this thing "soesjes". I bet in English it's called profiteroles or something like that.

Shortbread - Belgian waffles - cupcakes with small pieces of chocolate - brownies & cookies !

Cake with M&M's & Kit Kat bars which I made for the birthday party of my lil' brother :x
    [IMG]

Special Halloween cake with cream, chocolate & some fruit inside of it, covered with marzipan !

& Belgian fries with Mayonnaise which are served like this are the best, I tell ya ! The difference with French fries is that they're more crispy because they're made on another way.

Fish Tinola is a Filipino ginger based soup dish. This is composed of fish (fillet or otherwise), papaya or chayote wedges, malunggay and/or hot pepper leaves. It is best consumed during the cold and rainy weather.

Oh I almost forgot.. In Greece we make a ton of different pies (salty ones not sweet ones) and my grandma used to be a master at pie making :p She taught my mom and now she's awesome at making these aswell:

"Spanakopita", pretty much spinach pie, most delicious thing ever (it is supposed to have feta cheese in it but I have this weird thing where I only like feta cheese when eaten by itself in a salad and not when it's in pies or sandwiches so I don't put feta cheese in it >.>)

"Kolokithopita", pumpkin pie, another delicious thing (different than your typical pumpkin pie, this one is not watery or slimey, its inside is not mushy)

"Galatopita", milk pie, in it you put a creme made from milk and eggs and something else and whenever my mom makes it I always ask her to keep me some creme cause it's delicious even when you eat it by itself >.<
    [IMG]

And since we're on the crusty foods, one of my favourite deserts:

Galaktoboureko, a really sweet, crusty and syrupy desert sent from heaven >.<
