Solved Cleric vs Chanter

So I decided to go a little soft for starters.
Support roles are usually my thing. What do you think is better Cleric or Chanter?

 

If you go asmo better go with cleric

 

I would suggest you to go for a cleric even chanters were pretty nice especially with their buffs. x3 But times have changed so, yeah. You would do better as a cleric if you want to be a real support for your group.

 

Clerics can heal entire groups . Chanters can really only focus heal one target at a time. This makes them disadvantaged because anyone who realizes this can make their group hard dps 2 separate targets and the chanter group will fail.

 

This 2 class are pretty cool and good .... but for me i go cleric cause DISPELL is OP

 

Though.. if 4~5 people were to jump (adequately and coordinatedly) on the same 1 target the chanter wouldn't be able to outheal that either.

Both would work. However, in my experience baiting their recovery spell by hard dpsing two different targets works better because it spreads out the support ..say a templar is in the group he would bg the single target well now ur gonna have to switch vs Dpsing two the other one will still die...I mean im sure u can mix up different scenarios endlessly like this but like i said thats what I do.

 

go with chanter, is best man !

 

Go chanter if you like to be in your targets face while raping them a new butthole!

Go Cleric if you like to support or if your a sneaky runner bish

 

When chanters run they are worst

 

So I decided to get out of my confort zone and play a mage sorcerer..

 

good choice yo, sorc is very nice class! meny shields and high dps ! more nukes !!! awtsu !

 

You'd want to start a cleric first then get a chanter as your second char.

My advice: Try both classes in duels with equally equipped opponents and make your own experiences about which handles better for your playstyle.

 

funny how everyone likes clerics yet we cant find a damn cleric for a run in the game lool

 

Cleric rules... I love the class. Cleric and chanter have a differents game styles, you can see some videos and choose based in your game style.
In my opinion, cleric is better for full support; comparing to a chanter, a cleric´s skills are better as a buffer can only give you a shields with a limited ammount of damage they can take while clerics can group heal and group dispel magic. These skills are limited to mana avaibility however, but they´re more useful in battle if you want keep a live to your party more time.

 

Chanter nuff said.

 

He already decide on sorcerer i guess? But be it chanter or cleric, you have to first learn how to use them well, if not you will be just another burden instead of supporting your group.
