Solved Cleric related - "minimum" gear for farming?

Well, I recently set up the stigma set on my cleric and noticed that this girl is still running around with *cough* Archon Primus Pilus stuff... I think it should be no problem to create a dummy-cleric in order to get the Elite Archon Sentinel set via account warehouse but what's the minimum gear you guys recommend in order to start farming medals and AP through instances like IS? or to solo-run Esoterrace in order to obtain a bunch of relics to exchange for AP?

Back in 2.7, I used to do solo-runs through Besh Temple which of course took a hell lot of time but granted me with a full set of Stormwing Gear for my character. But I don't know how it's like in 4.7 now.
Should also mention that I'm a solo player without any legion etc. on Lumiel.

The best gear you can get in game is the Custodian / shepherd set / weapon, the accessories are the discordant, if you decide donate or vote you can do some trades to get arbiter gear or donate to buy the Elite Arb gear wich is the newest ^^
To acquire Ap and ceramium medals you can do the instances Infinity Shards, Muada, Ruin of Chaos, Rentus Base, Argent Manor in the special portals located in the capitol cities.
Every run in one of this instances you receive an amount of ap, ceramium medals, blood marks (to buy discordant accessories) and tempering solutions to ascend your accessories/ plume.
On gamez aion the relic system is not available.

The problem is: I don't know how many people are online in Lumiel but you will need 6 or 12 players to make the instances!

To answer your question: you can heal for IS in starter gear if you really want to. They probably won't care much as long as you aren't the only cleric.

 

Don't really need much gear if you go to IS as cleric since you will only be healing tank, just stay out of hyperions aoe

 

I see. With a little bit of warming up, I should actually be able to get a feel for healing again. Used to be the main healer on fortress fights within the group I was assigned to, while I was still adding damage to the fortress boss.

Do you know if/how frequently IS is done on Lumiel? And if it can be done with less than 12 people, though it'd take more time due to the lack of extra DDs?
