Solved PT BUG

I recently changed character name using Name Change Ticket, but after name changed, No one can't request PT or alliance to me. It says I'm not currently playing game even though I am online. I tested using 2 clients so that I can request PT to my character but doesn't work.

People with 2 caps in their names will have that problem when others are partying them. It's bugged that way.

 

It looks like from the background you're in Altgard - mixfight or Verteron?? When you're in mixfight portal, people can't send you group/alliance invitations, so you must leave mix as you will get the message "Fighter is not playing the game." But seeing that your second account is not labeled as "enemy" (as mixfight would label enemies when you're not in a group,) you aren't in mix - correct? Did you try restarting your client? And do you have the right downgraded files/item pak? It looks as if you're using outdated files as you should only have 3 XML files in your Aion\Data\usa\items folder.

Sometimes when you use out dated item paks, items get bugged, ESPECIALLY when you use a name change ticket. Items may go invisible, unstorable in account warehouse or just get incredibly buggy with in game functions. Is it possible for you to purchase another name change ticket if all of the above didn't work as seeing that it is most likely the 2 caps letters in the front of your name and change it to having only one capital letter? If you can't purchase another ticket you can contact @Puddles and she will be happy to look into it for you.

 

yea that FallingSky name is bugged because it has 2 capital letters in his name . you cant whisper nor invite him to group.

 

That is Altgard but that is definitely not in the mix fight. If they were in the mix fight zone, FallingSky's name would be red and the name would be "Fighter".
Also names with 2 caps have always been bugged, either they party you or you won't be able to party them. And it doesn't have anything to do with the item.pak.

 

Yeah I saw that their names weren't red, which it would show if they were in mix fight and I tried to use mix as a reference only. Either way, it's best if he has the latest item pak anyway to prevent other future problems. Also the item pak doesn't necessarily have to do with it, but it interferes with most major gaming functions and it's best to prevent that.

 

even if he use the new itempak but this situation has nothing to do with it the name is the problem not the itempak .

 

You know item.pak only affects items being traded and such right? So there wouldn't be any problem even without it.
And what kind of major gaming function would it interfere other than for trading purposes?

 

Everything can get buggy in this server which is why all files should be in place anyway to prevent even more problems. But I'm not going to argue with you simply because this problem has just been introduced to me as new just now, so I apologize if I claim to "always be right." I'm just generalizing solutions.

 

Well... The items.pak, or BGs, wouldn't have anything to do with that, it really is just that the Server only recognizes names that have a Capital first letter, and all the rest are under-case. It's because he has two capital letters in his name that his name is not actually "recognized" by the server, resulting in "That Player is not currently online.", this also results in not being able to be invited to a group, or whispered to. He can whisper people, but it would be impossible for people to reply to him, since to the server which your messages go through, he is considered "Offline", since "Sirjecht" is not online.

The Item.pak wouldn't have anything to do with Player Names or any of that such matter, since that really only pertains to items and items only. Also, you can tell that it's not in Mix, because of the NPC you can see in the upper left corner, but yes, also because his second account is not labeled as "Fighter".

It's not really that items get bugged actually, it's just differences between the client files and the server files, such as an Arbiter item being shaded red and having the requirement of "You must be an Officer of at least 4 Star to equip this" or whatever it is, and yet you can still equip it as a Rank 9. The Name Change Ticket is tricky, because as far as I know, I'm fully aware that it results in bugged names so I've never tried it, but creating a character with 2 capital letters isn't possible, it can only be done from a Name Change Ticket, which unfortunately, I'm not aware we can change. If it could, I'm nearly certain that it would be server side, since those pertain to the actual mechanics of the item itself. Meaning, it's something we can't change.

But yeah, Puddles is the best option to go to right now, she can hopefully get that fixed for you, or hook you up with another ticket - given that you will change your name to the exact same as they currently are, just removing the 2nd Capital Letter from it.

 

I guess using two capital letter is making this problem. Thanks for the help. Puddle is gonna change my character's name to fix this issue.
