I'm pretty sure Heiron back in the day was some of the best times I've ever had when PvPing, I made a lot of friends and enemies and even had some of those friends turn into rivals. I spent most of my time there and only went to Sanctum to shop around the personal shops and sell some things on the broker.




Sadly I feel those times will just remain pleasant memories tho, but I do like what you said @Davidkht and would welcome the chance to PvP in Heiron once again.

I noticed you used a Heiron ss with a safe zone in the background, I can't help but feel it is partly one of the reasons why people stopped pvping there, asmos or elyos would abuse the safe zones, and it just downright reduced the danger of you being exposed to danger as soon as you rift in the zone. That's why ppl got really creative in finding those hard to reach cliff areas for setting up kisks that usually involved clever gliding and some parkour acrobatics to get to.

I called them glide hopping, and some of us were trying to teach the elyos how to reach those areas where they kisked but most of the time it was a fail XD

why? if you're on zerging, you can show your escape skills not go to netralzone. that fail escape :v

 

Oh man the feels. During that time, I think it was the time that I just started playing Gamez. I had no fkn idea what to do and where to go. I'd just follow people running to some place and I would see many red dots and die miserably not knowing what happened. It was that time that I even forget to sleep and would play 2-3 days straight. It was that time when you had ABG you were god. It was that time when sorcs one shot you with 4k DP. It was that time when two plate classes fight, they fight mere inches away from each other coz extendables wasn't that popular then. Bottom line is, I miss those days and still hoping for it to come back, not exactly how it was but in a way.

 

lmao yooooo i was like that in iniggson at first before i had anuhart just some 50 starter gear no manastones, socket, nothing. This one big guy invites me all of a sudden im in this 8 person alliance and we run for a like a decent 3 min all of a sudden fucking red dots appear from all sides, 3 from left and 3 from right, we all died but damn the thrill

 

Thanks for posting this thread reminds me years ago when i first play aion. i mean since this server starts i got laptop and low graphic pc.
I remember that there was 2 legion with 20~30 japanese players are so active and in heiron asmo's they flew every where
I'm not a forum active but i play this game since this game starts, here in japan they have their on gamezaion forum too (not active now since 4.0 starts)

I love this part. Kinda like what happened in SILENTERA CANYON back when Beshmundir Temple was the best instance available in game. Players would bring alliances in Silentera just to get inside BT. Just imagine huge alliances fighting in such a small place where there were no safe zones. Lol! Besides, Heiron, Beluslan, Inggison, and Gelkmaros PvP, Silentera Canyon was one best PvP spots for me back then

 

As you said, i think the best idea its to take out IS portals on sanctum, so people will actually have to GO to the entrances of the instances and whenever a group of asmos/elyos start camping it, the people will lfg and boom pvp! I support this idea!

Definitely, back then no one was afriad of losing their ap. Well most of the players. That and the players actually having the courage to make alliance no matter who and what legion which was why it was much more alive than it is now.

EDIT: Would really love to have choices of where to go to pvp when you see like 6-8 lfg calls going on at once.
