Hi alll,

I played a long time Rappelz and this game became pay to win, even on pserver.
I searched a lot about to play a new MMORPG, and my choice have been Aion.

A few questions : what's the average number of online player on your servers ? There are the biggest pserver right ?
Can i choose US server or i must play EU server ? ( i'm french ).
Do we must make party for to kill the biggests boss or you can solo everything ? I like MMORPG with hard bosses

And i would like to be a 50% damage dealer 50% tank, can anyone tell me which race and which class to take ?
I would like to be able to solo PvE most of the time till max level, is it possible on Aion, or on your pserver ?
Can you buy from NPC some items which are on Cash Shop on official Aion ?

This server is p2w also unfortunately. Siel would be a good fit for you. EU server doesn't have that many people, but it has an extremely amazing community imo. Elyos usually have 85-104 people on. Asmo 50-104. It's rare that both sides have 104 people on at the same time. For parties, you can join IS instance (12 man people) that gives 5 credits, 20 CM medals, 200k AP and 200 BM. The boss is Hyperion. Other hard bosses? Well right now I'm doing Padmarashka with other Elyos . For class 50% and 50% damage, Songweaver is the best choice ;D. Or templar. PvE solo? It depends on what instance and the set buildup that you have. But if you want to be tanky as possible, then go with Templar. NPC from items that are on webshop? Lol no sorry xD. The items are there for a reason, to be purchased with donations. Like for example, I tried to purchase Gonon's Headband from a npc, but it was in the credit shop also and it's server locked, so I doubt there would be any purchasable items from there on npcs. You can buy Custodian/Shepherd sets and weapons with CM medals and AP, though.

Siel is more populated than Lumiel but of course if nobody picks Lumiel then it will never fill up..
Siel is an American server, Lumiel a European. Ping wise, Lumiel would be a wiser choice, my ping there is around 60ms being from Europe, as opposed to my 160+ ping on Siel.
However you must take into account that Lumiel has the stigma system implemented and you have to pick your skills and stigma trees while on Siel, every skill that was designed for your class will be in your skill window.

There are instances you can solo and instances you need a group for. The most popular ones right now are IS (Infinity Shard) and IO (Illuminary Obelisk) and no, you can't solo them!

If you like being 50% heals and 50% damage, play a Songweaver. I wouldn't say they're 50-50 but.. I would say they're 70% damage and 30% healing. Great supports both for groups and for themselves.

Gamez is a high rate server and once you make a character you are level 60. Max level is 65, and just one quest will take you to 65. It's mostly a pvp server but people make groups and alliances for instances a lot. There are also portals in the main cities to take you to the instances right away once you get an alliance going.

Some items that you can buy from the black cloud marketplace from NCSoft are in the Gamez webshop. You need credits to buy them which you acquire by voting or donating. Other items can be acquired when you win events AMs host, or when you win forum events from the special reward list (click here for said list). Of course not EVERYTHING that NCsoft has sold is available somewhere, but there's quite a few things.

And just a heads up: Arbiter and Elite Arbiter sets can be used and worn by anyone not just Governors. They can't be bought ingame because the feature was removed, so you can only buy them with credits from the webshop. However as previously mentioned you can buy Custodian sets and weaps ingame with ceramium medals which you acquire from battlegrounds.
