1 vs 1 / G vs G Equal gears?

Hey guys, today i was reading/watching some pvp events on another games and i found a "type of" event that makes players fight with equal gears & stats.
I'm just offering a way to play equally!

TL; DR: Basically, the players that enter the arena gets the same sets, weapons, accessories.

The sets/weapons/accessories are already enchanted and ready to use.

You can choose between manastones builds, depending on your type of playing! For example: Full block, full mr, crit/acc, crit/mr, etc. (You will not be able to enchant the manas, you will only be able to chose a build already set.)

You will get a list of scrolls/consumables you will be able to use! (You will not be able to put together Element scrolls with Strike Resist/Spell Resist Scrolls) (Supports might have the right to use all the scrolls at the same time).

The idea of this type of event its to show people that you dont need to be geared to be good. I guess some people will say that ping will fix everything but i don't think so!

On the GvG there will be 1 rule only, you can only choose for 1 support! With this im not saying that 2 clerics cant enter the arena, with this im saying that only 1 member of your party will be allowed to go on support builds (manastones, scrolls, etc.).

If there's a lot of people who thinks this is a good idea and the gm's think that they can make it happen, we can set up tournaments for 1 vs 1 or G v G!

I know its sounds kind of dumb, or difficult to do for the gm's, but if you would give it a try let us know!

Would be too difficult to enforce and to host something like this. Nothing stopping someone from just changing gear while the gm doesnt have them inspected.

Or you guys can just set a GvG or 1v1 using BM stuffs or probably your old ABG stuffs just for fun. @Stark usually using BM stuff in duel whenever hisr opponent is undergeared.

Don't delete please , this place is a place for suggestion, doesn't matter how hard is to implement, the important thing is our community is active and full of great ideas, about what Ethan said, i think the players will not have a reason to change the gear if the gear provided for the event be the best one, like Elite arbiter and etc...
The idea of the event is simple, provide a place with equal number of players to pvp and equal gear, of course i know it's very difficult to implement
But let the admins check the suggestion, maybe one day, can become reality

 

Even if it sounds complex, I think it's something fairly new. I'll try to forward this and see what we can do.

 

even undergeared low pings are op lol^^ they only need a good weapon that s all i dunno what happen i remember there was RVR portal ....now not anymore and ima admit it had a lot of fun. anyway about the suggestion i think is kinda to much rules for a 10 sec fight haha

I think it would be interesting to see people fighting equally, especially for those who cant donate or that ever played with the latest gears.

I liked Louy's idea about letting the players using the best gear since there will be no need for the players to switch sets or something like that o:

 

You're idea is strong. think of it as this. Gm or ref (someone everyone trusts) make the gvg or 1v1 open viewing details otherwise auto DQ, that way the gms and refs can inspect. The only way i see this not working if its zerg vs zerg whitch was why my other ideas didnt work out. imbalance = ghosttown

 

iI think i know what u r talking about, and it was not an event hosted by a person, i think if i remember correctly its called an automated battle arena in another aion private server. People in the arena are blocked from un/equipping gears. and those definitely wud require extensive scripting/coding/programming by someone to work. not to mention the bugs that could come out and exploits. added info: the gear you are equipped with is the same with everybody else and is remodeled with your race's elite legion uniform and your name and other players name appears unreadable or nonsense. i think that kind of concept is really good since if you see a name and familiar with it (say a noob or pro) then u might already know his/her combo or you would run cuz u know u'll get pawned.

 

I didnt know about another aion server with this hah! I saw this on Tera and other games, but yeah, as you said, there will be a lot to do for the gm's but this will make people much more interested in the game!

If anyone here have more ideas just type it down on the comments! Maybe in a near future we can be playing this kind of PvP!

 

Even with hidden names, we can always use the command /inspect, and it is necessary for further reports (if needed)

All you have to do is change a piece of code where it says target.getName() to "The selected player" and boom. Now about the reports, I guarantee you that our brilliant developers would be able think of an intelligent way to address them.
