[Gamez Aion] New server

So since Carl has yet to post anything about it, I thought I'd give some general information regarding this new change. As anyone who has logged in has noticed, we have two servers now. Siel (west) and Lumiel (east).

Lumiel is the new server, which is a direct copy of Siel as far as the database goes. All guilds, characters, items and kinah were transferred. There are some key things to note however. Because they are different servers, what you do on one will not affect the other. Guilds will need to decide which server they want to be active on. Characters created in one should not carry over to the other from this point on.

Edit: There is a new flight bug that caused me to make an erroneous statement about free flight. I can fly after landing anywhere if done right. Further details I won't explain. Both servers are no free flight. My apologies for any confusion.

Also the free fly is still not working and cant fly in certain areas on west server:rightful:

what about recollection in Lumiel ? How are we supposed to gather aether ? :S

 

:devil:At the momment the FREE FLY Is still Disabled for WEST SERVER....so CORRECTION....West and EAST is still free fly zones...just still not in herion and belus....until its fixed for west to be completely FREE FLY AGAIN^^ and EAST to be not free fly

 

this is completely werid... so i have both char in both sever, how the hell does that work? lol...

You should be able to fly in Altguard Fortress, Morheim Fortress, Beluslan Fortress and Abyss. Lumiel will be more retail oriented on the fly part. This means that you can still fly around to gather aether in abyss and around town fortresses.

When people go rifting, they wont be able to free fly anywhere. Unless, of course they are near a main city fortress or something.

TL;DR: No free fly anywhere, retail like rifting and free fly in abyss. The way the game was always meant to be played.

So..we'll have the characters on both servers forever? or will the characters in one server get deleted eventually?

 

Hopefully this wont bring confusion and more bugs

 

U people are so dumb. U can fly in gathering areas where aethers are located like in the storm circle

 

This is weird, I gave my friend my money on east, I logged on west and my money is GONE plus I have stuff missing.
This is probably gg, It appears theres alot of bugs that needs to be fixed

 

:rightful:It Hasn't Changed at all....It's ALL THE SAME! no dupped accounts or different cloned characters on both accounts....IT STILL REFLECTS to BOTH SERVERS....So What you do on one server still happens to the other server.....ALL IT IS....IS ANOTHER CHANNEL...SO Dont get confused......FOR EXAMPLE!!! If you trade something on one server to someone it will still be same outcome on the other server....or if u kill someone on east u transfer the same AP points gained to the other server on West....so dont get confused for this mix up :wink:

 

I think lets just wait for them to figure out whats going on and then tell us xD

 

Free fly is still activated (or should be) in the Storm Circle and Alukina's Palace. You can also gather Aether in the Upper Abyss, which is much faster in my opinion that Belusian and Heiron

 

Question: How will this affect the credits shop?

They're separate databases, what you do from now on wont be duplicated to the other server...

Not really, the first server is almost reaching its maximum capacity...

 

I didn't really get the point of this...o.o;
