Why being kind and giving is not good in Aion

I've given away bloodmarks, kinah, candies, potions, scrolls... it just never ends... they want everything you have and they won't stop...

Compared to previous years that I have played... this year is the worst. Getting things in the game has been made so easy, crafting is easy, getting ap is easy, bloodmarks is very easy too and yet people still beg? *sigh*

 

Just other day I made my note "Ask for items = Blocked" and now this is what my block list looks like. (plus like 5 more you can't see) I don't wanna give out any more free items to people that can't do work themselves for it.

Don't give them. The more you give, the more they will be encouraged to keep it up, don't you think? People will always ask for stuff, it's not just aion in general. It's nice to be kind and helping but there has to be that line when you need to stop.

The more you give such people, the more they want.
So instead choose to give the ones who are worth to get your valuables.

I've had this problem too! People ask me for stuff, even though I have a few things, I cant give them away, mainly because I need them and I use them up so quickly. I just tell people that I have none, and go craft your own its not that hard.. This one guy, said can I have some kinah, and he was clearly wearing arbiters set, so I think hes more than capable of crafting running scrolls ect..

hmm i always thought the rules towards this were kinda simple...
if you know/like the person asking for assistance give it to them (given that you arent poor as fuck)
if you don't know/like the person asking for assistance tell them to go fuck themselves.
this worked for me quite well so far

same to me.. they always borrow kinah but cant return esp. to Vip's ..but in my case , i will just ignore them.. the more u gave what they want , the more they didnt learn on their own. i know u would get strong soon, if ur willing to be. huh! ur really a kind person person @JessiHan but not too much .

 

especially when you're vip, they keep asking for bm/scrolls/kinah/etc.
that's why i'm not gonna buy vip for a while

Which is why you ignore them or blatantly use in front of them what they're asking for just to make them mad (candies, scrolls, pots, a rare set etc.) Kinah unfortunately cannot be used in this way :c
Like for example when @Saee asks me for a Seraphim GM costume, I put it on and use /taunt

It's spoon feeding basically. It's not bannable. But in life, it's degrading. We have things on game thats so easy do get and yet they still ask for them for free.
