Solved Was working but now it's not.

Hello all. I sent a PM to Puddles but it appears she's offline so maybe somebody else can help.

I spent a day downloading through the torrent. When it was done I got the game to load up and spent about 3 minutes in the game before it crashed on me. When I tried to load the game up again it's telling me that aion.bin or aion.exe do not exist.

Ok so how did I get into the game if they don't exist?

Don't be surprised at all.

You are most likely missing files. Personally I would do it manually as torrents can take longer. Have you tried downloading Aion through the NCsoft launcher?

 

The user had simply messed up his Aion folder a bit.

His Aion folder looked a little bit like this. It had just a few folders in it including the whole GamezAion torrent folder inside it, and he installed the Gamez launcher in that Aion folder instead of the Gamez folder.

The "Aion.bin not found" error appears when the Gamez launcher is not installed in the same folder as your game client, so we deleted the folders that he messed up, left the Gamez folder the only one in there and re-installed the launcher in the same folder as his game client, which was the Gamez Aion folder from the torrent. He can now play without a problem.
