    So yeah, I've been trying to craft my own stuff, and right now I've been looking to this NPC that sells this Idium Rod and I cant seem to find it on Katalam, I search it but the NPC was not there. Help please. where can I exactly buy this material?

    As what @Purell said, you can get that Idium Rod in that location, but remember, other faction (Elyos) gets materials there, so, if they got the location, You have to kill the Warcaptain in order to capture it.
