Can't log in

Every time I try to log in, I get "you are already logged in", I just type my password again and I get the server select screen (I have never made a character) once I select cancel (Because I want Siel the US server) I Select it and the screen freezes, I have to cancel the Aion process in task manager to try again.

 

It freezes as in, nothing moves? Or it moves and you see this long hallway moving but nothing else happens?

Also, try this: Open your client, try to login, if it says you are already logged in CLICK OK AND DO NOT LOGIN AGAIN. After you click okay just stay on the login page for a minute or two. When the couple minutes have passed, put your info back in the login boxes and login again. Check if that solves anything and let me know

 

I just noticed I have 4.8 already and need to downgrade for this server. So I am doing that now. I will see if that fixes the issue. Thanks for the quick reply

 

That's why I asked if the "freeze" you talked about is an actual frame freeze or if the hallway keeps moving but nothing else happens Your issue happens when you don't have the right version, as you have correctly mentioned.

Don't bother downgrading, it won't work to the fullest. The downgrade is outdated and the only way to get the game fully working right now is to redownload the corect version through the Torrent as explained here.

Alternatively, you can just wait until the 14th when Gamez updates to 4.8 so you won't have to change a thing on your client

 

The hall does keep moving, it is not a true freeze. Just the clickable buttons on the screen are frozen and don't respond. I am currently downloading the full GamezAaion client not just the downgrade patch.

 

You can't play the 4.8 patch atm. The best thing to do is to finish your downloaded aiom from torrent. Thats
the only option you can do to be able to play.

 

Yeah like I said it's a very common issue, it happens when your client's version is incompatible with the server's version.

Remember that if you download the patch, you will NOT need to change anything or downgrade. Stop the downgrade patch cause you will not need it xD
Download the Torrent, once it's ready you can start playing. I would suggest leaving your current 4.8 client as is, do NOT try to downgrade it since like I said it will give you problems. Just leave it as it is and don't touch it, so you won't have to update the torrented client in a week when 4.8 goes live on Gamez

Use you torrented client to play for now once it's done downloading, and once 4.8 goes live just download the launcher on that NCsoft folder and play from that one.

 

fyi, the link on that page doesn't work for me, it is trying to call bittorent instead of utorrent which I have installed. A quick search on the forum gave me the tread to download the torrent that actually works. Located here
