It's Time to Move on to the new Maps!

Since it's already 4.8, new maps were added on that patch! But why is our asses still stuck at inggison/gelkmaros for PVP? Don't you guys want to explore Levinshore/Cygnea/Eshnar and Make it the new PvP map? The new maps are PvP maps after all. Why don't you explore the other sides of balaurea?

 

Mobs at new maps are a pain in the ass. The idea is to kill others and you can do that without mobs hitting you and contributing with your death.

It so frustrating when you are winning a fight an a mob "interrupts" it by canceling your casting, knocking you back, etc.

 

you can take it as "part of the challenge".

 

LMao thats a part of the game dude, ive seen sorcs, use the environment to win, even more so like anyone else, they see a sorc or a SW coming they just hit a mob or two so if they get slept the mob will break it, etc etc

Theres a reason for the map having mobs, the idea is to kill each other yes, but the game being full of everything is what makes it fun and exciting. IF you dnt want shit hitting you, go do Battlegrounds , thats what THAT is made for...

and glad/sin/sorc can also obtain massive amount of HP by attacking mobs with their skills :3

 

Cause rifts in cygnea/enshar don't work. In retail they open once per day at 23:00 server time.
Make permanent rifts, add omega stones to mobs and people will be there... till then enjoy the bullshit that is ping pong in hanarkand.

 

That's even worse as gladiators are unstoppable if they drag 4 mobs to them as they are more like vampires.

 

Lmao. Well as Grrr said, they gotta make the changes and put incentives if they want to live up to the title of being the "Best PVP Server" Cause right now this ping pong, obelisk humping in old ass inggison map is rather..... not so fun.

But yeah, we can only voice our opinions so much, if they fall on deaf ears, not much we can do really until....

 

I agree! Pvping in Levinshor was/is so much fun. Less laggy and lots of pretty sights, that's always a +. I have only seen AAO legion on the elyos side, so far, who are as excited as some of us on the asmo side to pvp in other zones. I hope AAO will continue to set an example for the rest of the elyos.

True! Levinshore is a very beautiful place! They can also farm bloodmarks there xD i mean whats the point of the new update if it's not gonna be used..

 

PvP there was fun. Jessibby made a hide-and-seek event there, there were lots of elyos to PvP with that time

 

But sadly they still choose to go inggision and have a ping pong match there

 

Man on a reals, elyos=LAZY. Last time I tired to invite a bunch to come have a lil face off with <Stopitsme> And friends .... I got whispers about oh Stopitsme is overpowered and cant kill fendi @Astii and cleric always have strong BG @Stark - I just laughed to myself and said no wonder they cry so much about Asmo's because they aren't even willing to try - and it's no wonder Sanctum is the most active zone in GamezAION. Period.

 

There are no incentives to PvP on those said maps. I barely go there to morph or farm some exp for essence.

 

As for ping pong it can't happen in there, since those new maps don't have bases for each race or the dogshit safezones you gotta go kisk somewhere like in the original maps. Even if rifts and incentives were added, in the end it's the brainless shit players, who don't know anything about the game and don't check the forums, that will decide wether the pvp moves or not. If they can't permanently stand in some shitty safezone and walk 10 meters to use 2 ranged skills on someone, nobody gonna go there. Even everyone who says they like roaming around doing small fights won't attempt going there when they know there's no bads sitting in some spot 24/7

 

1) Like @Grrr said, people need incentives to go to the new maps which have mobs that tend to attack you. For me personally this is what I'd prefer, but to each his own. If those mobs can drop the good loot then we'll find people there.

2) We need teleporters in Panda DIRECTLY to the new PvP maps including Levinshor, the 4 new abyss, Cygnea, etc. Something I've been screaming about for a while. The Ingisson PvP is there now only because of the teleporters in Panda. The Tiamaranta Eye pvp was there too only cuz of the teleporters in Panda/Sanc.

3) The current PvP map, Ingisson/Gelk, wouldn't be so bad if people did FFA like the 4.7 times. During those times of FFA, decent Katalam, and Finaldestiny's events I had alot of fun as much fun as the times of Mixfight PvP. Really things started to go downhill after the patch to raise safezones height and people no longer entered FFA. We still have events, but I thought things would be better from that point but on everything went to hell. I thought 4.8 would be real fun, but I got a reality check.

 

But....the teleport npc does have a path to levinshor and the new maps.... Adding a dynamic custom rift would be shit, nobody liked spamming that .gopvp command for entering danaria and waiting half an hour to get in the same place with his group. Much easier and healthier to use the normal teleporter, you get to choose the rift and you ensure that there are people in their own map for the invaders.
Panasterra is shit, it's basically the abyss but prettier and way harder to get working properly. Nobody likes flight pvp. NOBODY. Except the random retard who's gonna quote this just to "prove me wrong"

 

But sir... I love flight pvp on chanter. I killed countless people in retail ver 1.5 era in air combat lol.
