Can't See My Character

I can see my character at the character select screen but once i start playing he disappears i can see everything but him including other characters.

 

Try deleting your item.pak and let ncsoft repair it.
If you can play normaal then you can edit your item.pak.

 

Don't listen to hitkill, if you start the Aion launcher it's going to auto-update to 2.0 you can't repair it now.

 

It is possible to keep the current version you only need to pay some attention and cancel before it updates.

 

If you repair, it's going to overlap 1.9 files and download 2.0 files since it's considered missing.

Well, now you have to wait till Gamez Aion is 2.0, officially.

Correct. And Gamez is on the banned list from Aion Lightning and Aion Unique, so that'll be never.

 

That is strange because i still have a 1.5 client and i repaired it multiple times after 1.9 release.
And ncsoft first repair the 1.9 client before they download the 2.0 client. Or else the client misses some parts.

 

ill give it a try i really have nothing to lose at this point

 

Because Aion would support old files when they're supposed to be the latest and allow them to repair old files for private servers, makes sense.

 

They support old files because if you know a little bit of scripting a update will only add certain lines not whole so if you missing a file and you update it there is only some item lines not everything.

 

All hope isn't lost, but since NCSoft launcher now requires you to update to 2.0 you wont be able to use it. If you're willing to spend a few hours waiting on a download, refer to the link in my signature.. you'll even be able to repair if something does happen again.
