Because Ambassador items are bugged. You cannot buy Ambassador directly from the NPCs, but you can create it through purification.

Creating Ambassador through purification is not that hard. Here is how to create the set pieces you are looking for:

So we need to buy acd set with mitril medals.

But how can we farm mitrils medals ?

 

PvP. Every 3 (or so?) kills you get, you get awarded with some Mithril Medals.

Keep installing it until it works. There's nothing else you can do really, the item.pak has problems which I don't know about and the only thing you can do is keep trying.

Well, I didn't make the item.pak and I do not know what causes this bug to happen so I cannot help you further. The only step that solved people's problem was to keep re-installing it, or even in some cases delete the whole Data folder, repair the client and re-install the item.pak. There have been cases of people having to re-install the item.pak dozens of times before it worked.

There is literally no other solution that we know of because like I said, as of now, we do not and cannot know what causes it.

Open your NCsoft launcher and let it update, if it doesn't have an update button you can press, hit file repair. Finish the download FULLY. All 9 stages. Do not interrupt it.

I have a problem with plastic surgery ticket . I can't change my character appearance. After I change it, the ticket still remains on my inventory and after relog character is not changed .Please help me

 

I'm sure I read somewhere that somebody else has already answered you, but this is a common server-sided bug. Not a bug with your client or character.

 

do you have the downgrade for 4.8.0.3 version? i got a higher version 4.8.0.17 i think, which i believe the reason i cant use the item.pak.

 

First of all the server's version is .6 and not .3 so even if you could get .6 you would have to update to the right version. Second of all no there is no downgrade from retail's current patches, but I believe even if you have the latest version you can use the item.pak.

The weird thing about the item.pak is that it doesn't work on the first try for many users. Nobody knows why and nobody knows how to fix it. The only solution is to keep re-installing it, or even delete the whole Data folder, repairing the client, and installing the item.pak again until it works.

Just a couple notes, make sure you are following all the instructions correctly from this link, and that you are trying to trade items that are not fused, and also that most of them need VIP to be traded other than the item.pak. Leaving these here just to be safe, even though I'm sure you are already aware

@Dimi, aw. this is just the first time I had the problem with the item.pak. I've been playing with you guys for a long time, just took a break and tried playing the game again and viola! item.pak isn't working for me. well anyways, I'll try to delete the data folder and fix the game then try the item.pak. thanks again!
