Solved Account Problems (Read Inside!)

    What if we will be hacked by someone? I think the website don't have recovery area for your account if will be hack. How can we get back or recovery our account if will be hack?

    The server has a "Your account, your responsibility" term.

    You have to regularly change your password once in a while and you have to make sure you don't give out any information.

    You can help prevent yourself from being hacked by:
    • Not having an easy password
    • Not giving away your login info
    • Changing your password once every 2 - 4 weeks
    • Not having the same Login credentials as the forums
    If you do get hacked, very minimum can be done, especially with all the new security features.-

    Actually? You PM any of the staff members here, and they forward your case to me. Which will be looked at.
    So, while that advice is correct as far as things you can do. It is very incorrect as far as that we will not help you, or at least try to.
    Of course, if you do share your account, that is fairly easy to find.

    I apologize then, I had a account hacked 2 1/2 years ago 2 days after I spent 700$ when the Arbiter sets first came out and I was told to fuck off when I reported it. (Not by you of course, a different HGM). I assumed it was the same policy so I told him that.

    Yes, well. In the past. Honestly? That was the way things were handled. Yes, by myself included.
    However, things have greatly changed in a lot of aspects when it comes to what is done for players when such reports come across my inbox, or external messaging boxes.
    I can say with out a doubt that, yes we have recovered players accounts from such incidents and that not telling them to go beep themselves.

    No, the process is not always quick. Though it is done and quite nice when we are able to go about helping people, and in turn evicerating those who feel it would be
    a good thing to steal stuff, and try to hide it somewhere else.

    Yea, the new staff and policy is alot better than before. I got made fun of and laughed at when my account got hacked and was told "O well, too bad, your account, your responsibility". Puddles was a HGM at the time but was not as active. Probably due to personal reasons as she left staff a couple months later.

    If this policy was in affect years ago, I would of had alot more stuff.

    I am glad that the capabilities of you and your team has increased alot. Too bad 2 years is too late for me but its not too late for any people who may have the same experience in the future.

    I do like the staff today as well compared to before.
