How do i delete a character? XD

hey all lol today i decided i was gonna remake my ranger because i think asmo female>male asmo buuuuuut everytime i type in the "Confirm Delete" button and click yes that i want to delete that character nothing happens can anyone tell me what im messing up on? XD

 

Make sure he has no legion.

 

Make sure the character u are trying to delete isnt in a guild, or have anything equiped

 

It should say that in a period of time the character will be deleted. Does it say that?

 

ohh crap lol i stripped him but forgot about the legion durrrr sorry everyone >.<

 

I've had problems with character deletion in the past.

Step1.) log into the character you wish to delete

Step2.) remove all of the character's items and kinah (find a friend to hold the items and kinah, or use a second account. Use the account ware house at your own risk, due to possible item/kinah disappearing.)

Step3.) If your character is in a legion, remove him from the legion.

Step4.) Double-check to make sure that the character's cube is totally empty and he is carrying 0 kinah. Also make sure he is not in a legion.

Step5.) press the [esc] button, and click the button labeled [logout], and in 10seconds, you will be taken back to the character selection/creation/deletion screen.

Step6.) Highlight the character you wish to delete, click the delete button, follow the instructions on the prompt that pops up and if you did everything right, the character will have a 5 minute timer under it.

Step7.) Login to any of your other characters, and then go back to the character selection screen and the character you wanted to delete should be gone.

Of course he did. That doesn't mean the step-by-step guide on how to do it wont benefit anyone else who finds this thread who is interested in the same thing.

 

sometimes the character deletion is bugged, like mine.. my character doesnt have any legion/kinah/items in the warehouse but still i cant delete my character.. damn alt i made to do the low level quests
