That is something called a High Deava.
After Level 65, you will have a quest at level 66. Doing this quest will allow you to level more and reap more benefits from higher level.
Some include 'elemental' abilities (that seem so far to have character effects). And, boost general stats such as will, knowledge, etc.

5.0 is going to have a bunch of interesting things, including new gear that while it may have a recommended level? You can still use it once you get to level 66 and finish the quest and stuff.
Basically, all of this is out there on the interwebs for review, which is where I've been getting information about the new features and stuff myself for the giant list of 'THIS STUFF BETTER FUGGLING WORK' >>;

 

In my opinion that 5.0 it will be one of the biggest update's . big changes. I supposed everyone is waiting for that change. Until now gamez resist alot as a private server . This update will make it one of the most complex mmorpg .

Including that you have alot of information about that update. You have to now when it will be released here in Gamez Aion .
That will be one of the biggest surprise for christmas for some gamez playes.
So .. do you know a date or the month . Or the year when those changes will be integrated here ?

 

Well maybe after it hits retail when it's in American not Korean so we can read it then they might have a clue on when it be here on Gamez

 

wait till NA gets it, then wait up to 1-2 years, somewhere in that time GA is likely to get it, or part of it.

 

it can be faster , that's depends on the gamez team . and as i know there are not to many who are able to do that fast , or i'm bad informed , the question is how long it will take the gamez to get the 5.0 here. But in that case , with this big update any staff member will beeing interested to get the update. For the good of the server , gamez can't be that like 1 year in back of the na , seriously now .
Some judgments are ... , knowing the problems from the inside . What it takes to get that update 5.0 here . You will be sadly , dissapointed.
Anyway it won't take that longer in my opinion after is released in na , i know from other update gamez update after EU . And Eu After 1-2 months.
From the history of updates , i think gamez integrate the 5.0 after Eu with 3-5 months because it's an big update and alot's of areas and instance have to be modif

As far as I know, only 1 person deals with updating/modifying server files. And eu has nothing to do with gamez update timings, since gamez runs on a modified US client, but can run from a eu client if modified I suppose.

 

the bright idea NCsoft had to make every 5.0 gear/weapon/wing broke if it fails enchantment is funny

 

if that is true, then all items pvp/pve/accessorys, they will all be bought a lot, and made super expensive, OR no one will enchant anything ever again, especially with the enchant rates here.

ok just did some "research". It's only the new items/sets that break on enchant fail, not all sets, *phew*

 

Basically a large percentage of players quitted and a lot others stopped buying NCcoins and complained that it killed Aion,so NCsoft with having no choise is re-releasing 5.0,they will begin new tests on their test server but so far there has not been a single new bit of info to the public,fingers crossed the items wont break.. i could live with a lower enchanting success on High Daeva equipment over having it break lol,i mean Aion is not Lineage 2-Themed u can just buy the top gear,it takes time and dedication[talking about retail ofc,PS makes games easy]

Don't worry. It won't much matter if that 'feature' -cough-, actually gets put into effect here.
As far as it stands, this little thing that NCSoft did is one of my main concerns with the 5.0 updated. Guess what? I already have it addressed, and some things planned out that will regardless of if it still exists or not (that being even if at a lower chance of item breakage) to mitigate the item destruction.

When it comes to things being put on shop and being super expensive? New stuff of course will be on the shop (most likely). However, there will be stuff that is not!

No, they have a choice. It was silly of them to even do in the first place really. Freaked me out when I started hearing about this being implemented by NCSoft to be honest. I couldn't actually figure out why they would do that in the first place other than well it was a money grab. The thing they failed to realize is that people don't like when they lose stuff they probably worked for over the course of week, months, to break upon a fail. Yea sure its a Korean MMO, and having played others? They like to torture themselves it seems by having to farm and farm. It is the spirit of an MMO, but that spirit can be destroyed easy like they did.

Oh well, like I said. We have stuff up our sleeves to remedy this regardless of what happens when we get the eventual 5.0 update.

 

the fact is......aion will never end, new items will come allways,so u have to donate for life! that s one of the reasons why so many ppls dont play anymore aion on ncsoft/gameforge

 

They even screwed up 4.9, for a lil while i had access on Korea then they forced a system you need to buy anything from BCM so ur account can work ANYWAY our 4.9 is the early version,not every mob on UA was supposed to be elite,a lot of new players[cause a lot new plays came cause of Steam] cant do their AC weeklies cause the Balaur literally 2 hit kill them..the translations suck they seem rushed and awkwardly it was the missing parts of 4.8 with half of 4.9..i have my own reasons for leaving Gamez and focusing on Retail specially now that i became an officer i wont say what but yeah im sure Gamez has their tricks on their sleeves lol which is nice for 5.0..Knowing that only new gears will give u Attribute manastone slots that could break the game for a free2play player over one who spends 1000 bucks on Aion weekly...some ppl got +300 MB from having a set +15 imagine that on 5.0 with new gears + attributes cause right now it doesnt matter..Im a PvP player and im worried a bunch about how pvp will work cause now its dead,4.9 gave it some life with the new siege buff but still.. Aion gets interesting with each expansion in bad and good ways still it seems to go towards ppl that pay rather than ppl who take their time to truly enjoy what Aion offers and what im glad for Gamez is that unlike that other popular Aion server[advertising isnt allowed hue] doesnt lock ppl of other maps etc it leaves it open to ppl and hope it stays that way!!

 

Nice to hear news .. some of them bad news. .
Anyway , i've made a little search on youtoube and google and find out there will be a new class : element class or something like this.
Someone know something like that ? A new class , new setss.. etc

 

Fairly sure I explained that in the other thread regarding 5.0.
There are no new classes. It is an attribute of a High Deava.
