    Now....
It depends on what role you would like to play with your cleric. If you would like to be full support - Then it's FULL Block +29 stones or FULL Resist Magic+16. Although majority of the population on gamez are mages, resisting them without really great gear is almost impossible (Full Elite Arbiter or Arbiter, full mythic accessories, Sunayaka hairpin, Elim Magic Defense Idian, Magic Resist Food) just to name out a few of the required things. Most geared mages do have a MA/MB build that can help them to avoid being resisted by you (not a lot but yeah).

I would recommend block be your go-to build for open world pvp, as melee classes pose more of an "Annoying" threat to you in the open world, and not worrying about them (because you can block them easily) is kind of a relief. The best block sets are Bloodmark Chain -> Arbiter Chain -> Elite Arbiter Chain, in that order. The Bloodmark Chain helm or Awakened Asherion's Plate helm as head piece + Mythic accessories to give you better block + Magic suppression [To help with the amount of magic damage you can mitigate from yourself] is needed. Also Sauro Mythic belt is of utmost importance in this build as it gives +70 block.

As for DPS, well honestly, A DPS cleric is as strong as they can heal lol, your offense is as good as your defense (How well you can survive + manage your mana well). Most great DPS clerics go MB/HP manas. And balance out their magical accuracy with either MA/HP and a few MB/MA.

If you have anymore questions, just shoot me a PM, and I'll help ya out, Merry Christmas ;)

If I go vs a templar with mr trust me, u can't win, so the build of mb/hp is not that good, plus the low ma that clerics have... imposible u.u

Mb/Hp is perfect, a good cleric can tank a templar for 30 seconds (or whatever) when the aether armos is UP, in the end of that, the templar will be just a normal templar, even if you have MR in your build, you won't be able to kill the cleric, templars can tank or do dps, not do both at the same time :)

And to add to this, most clerics (MOST) have more than one set. Their DPS set and their support spec. Some even go as far as having a MR set and a Block set. So in-case you're in with a Templar and he throws up Aether Armor, you can throw on your block set and survive that burst, then macro back to your DPS set and ..... "pew pew" as they say........

It is not impossible, it's a proven build, and I'm pretty sure you have an idea how much you need to have to hit people in general, clearly a high MR person won't be able to kill you either on a count of they don't have the required stats to do so. Needless to say I've seen you trying to kill me in 1v1 ser Katan, so I am not surprised you'd think that the build I suggested is "impossible".

Looks like you're already getting a lot of very good advices from all of these amazing clerics we have on this server. The only thing I can add is that you must have multiple sets if you are also wanting to dps as a cleric. Against magic class you won't be able to do a lot of damage if you have a full MR set. I would not recommend an MR/MB or MB/MR build, because having little MR against those classes and a little MB (or the other way around) doesn't really help because your MR will be useless as you have very little chance on resisting anything anyway. I believe you would benefit more if you had MB/MA build against those classes as they will more likely have a lot of MA, so the little MR you have is most likely going to be a waste and not beneficial for you.

Against physical class, from my experience, if you would like to do a decent amount of damage and still have a little bit of defense you might want to do mb/block. I have tested quiet a few builds with my sensei @Stopitsme and the build that made sense the most against these classes as a dps cleric is MB/Block. I find it very successful in 1 v 1 portals.

Like what everyone else suggested, for a full support cleric, full MR is the best way to go. Just observe Jdean and Rainbowdick, they don't have +20 sets but they are very, very good support clerics because they know how to play the class really, really well. What makes you an unstoppable cleric is knowing your skills, applying those skills you have at the right moment and having skilled dps team mates who really knows what they are doing too. To have a successful raid, it's not just about the cleric's heals, it's mostly how fast your team mates can eliminate the right targets and you just have to make sure you are there to assist them so that they can get to them as fast as possible. Like dispelling and healing them. If you have shitty dps team mates, even if you have all of your heals, you won't be able to do much because they will be on you and sooner or later you won't get to heal because of the amount of people who has you targeted and throwing all of their skills at you and cancel your heals or silence you, paralyze you, etc. Having a templar and a chanter is very, very helpful too. Have a great day and Merry christmas to you all!

If you have any other questions on pretty much all of the classes, I highly recommend speaking to @Orzzzz, not a lot of people know, but he plays all of the classes aion has to offer exceptionally well and he is like a walking aion encyclopedia. He's very knowledgeable about the game.

@Finaldestiny beast cleric, Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. I missed you. <3
