Client Issue "Nothing hapens after Terms and Conditions" variant?

Howdy folks.

Sometime early today, I got disconnected in the middle of a 2v2 event (apologies to my partner!) and I haven't been able to log in ever since. However, there seems to be a phantom version of me that's still online and racking up hours somehow. It's been about twelve hours and I'm still experiencing this bug.

As I described in the title, after I click "accept" on the Terms and Service, the game just sits on the log-in cinematic loop and goes nowhere. My version of the game is 4.8.0.17, which is up to date as far as I know, since the website only says "4.8". I've also tried disabling firewalls and anti-viruses as the Sticky post suggested, but I'm not having any luck there.

Anyone have any advice for me?

Oh, right. I should have supplied that to begin with. Name's Kirrana.

 

Try now. There is a slight chance the character itself will be stuck, but I believe you should be able to at least login and reach character selection.

 

I just got an "Already logged in" error when I attempted to log in. Going to give it a moment...
And boom. Character Select screen. However, after selecting that character and trying to log in, I was disconnected before I even hit a loading screen. This has happened multiple times with Kirrana. However, my Aethertech Masamasa has logged in without any issues.
Let me try logging out and back in with Kirrana after logging in on Masamasa...
Nope. Kirrana still disconnects me immediately.

 

Yeah, like I said, when this happens it is because a character of yours got stuck and made your whole account get stuck, so me trying to get you unstuck only fixed your account login but not the stuck character. I tried to fix Kirrana again but I doubt it will work. Sadly you will have to wait for a server restart, the character will be fixed on one.

 

Ahh. I thought you were implying that the character being stuck was fixed, not just character select. Well, that's a shame. Kirrana's got all of my money and gear.
Nonetheless, I appreciate the help. I can just play on my Aethertech until the server does its thing. Feel free to lock the thread.
