Farming Options

Hello everyone!
I've been playing for about 2 weeks now. I'm progressing in game and now would like to start enchanting my better gears like the abyss class items:
-Where is a good place to farm Amplification stones?
-Is there a good place to enchant items or so many per day or when you first log in?
- Do Omega stones still drop from random mobs as a rare in certain areas?


appreciate all of you help! I do use Google a lot and try to include Gamez Aion to pull up previous forum threads on the topic. However, it seems some of them are older and I'm not sure how reliable that information may be.

Let me answer your question really quick and at the same time bump the thread so we can get more advice from players regarding enchanting.


1. The best way to get omega enchantment stones is if you join different battlegrounds that pop up every single hour in Pandaemonium/Sanctum in form of rifts. You can find the rifts in every hour (from around :00 to :05; or :10 to :15, to be exact) somewhere around the circles I've put:



Other than battlegrounds, we also have in-game events hosted by our lovely AM's for various rewards, including amplification stones.
You may check which exactly are those events where you can receive omega enchantment/amplification stones if the event host happens to choose them as prize. Here's the list.
Also, there are several forum events in the Event Section which you should check out and join if you like to win not just amplification stones but lots-lots other useful stuff. Lastly, if forum events are not your thing, you can just shout in LFG and see if there are players to trade with you which I am sure of there are. It's up to you.

2. Uhm, when I was very active in game, people usually went to Marchutan/Kaisinel and swore it made a huge difference when it came to enchanting. Some people teleport to other less laggy/used maps (out of the capital) to boost their chances but honestly I don't really think either of these would make much difference when you want to enchant.
Let me illustrate it with another example. It's similar to when couples want to conceive a baby boy or baby girl and think they can affect on the fetus' gender by following some traditional guideline. Everyone has its tip how to stack the odds in your favour and have a baby boy, look!


He looks happy by knowing what we don't, doesn't he. The legend might be up for a long time but honestly, you either make it or not, and therefore I think the same applies to enchanting. There were days when no matter where I was standing or what I was doing, I kept failing, while there were moments another day I could make my armor part to +20 within 10 minutes. It's RNG.

Thank you for your response. You guys provide great information. I have not tried any GM hosted events. I believe that I could be a challenge for some that have similar gear. Honestly, I have been doing sieges and farming materials for crafting scrolls. This is allowing to recognize who is who in the community. Is there any battle grounds that I would be able to solo for them?

 

keep an eye out for events unrelated to pvp, such as trivia or unscramble, the prize is decent and it will help you get started. If you need AP just do infinity shard.
