Solved about chanter

does chanter still fun to play now? i deleted my chant so i cant tell if and ddnt know the new skills and deleted skills of it...

can chant still kill sorc,sm,glad,temp etc.if im using end game gear, no +20 ofc..

Chanter can still kill any class, but it depends on the user's skills and gear, and of course ping.

 

im planning to have ep chain set and sea crit acces. . . . does the damage is big or not?

 

damage on chanter with EP and SEA crit set is not big as Sin or glad, but what you have is constant damage over time and plus you have debuff skills on top of that which mitigate your Opponent atk dps/ speed. Usully I run two set; one for solo, other for group support.

Now that's really something to argue about. No matter how good a chanter is, the chances of winning against a decent up to skilled Spiritmaster or even a Songweaver/Sorcerer are quite low heading to 0 on Siel; we are obviously completely ignoring matches against another Chanter or a Cleric which are either a waste of time or ONLY luck/RNG based (a few godstone procs in a row). So what's left are only plate and leather users...

I've seen good chanters rerolling after 4.8, so I tend to believe it's not a really great class to play anymore, but, of course, this is my opinion only. If one enjoys playing Chanter, that's all it matters.

 

Full stigma is to be blame d: but then,
thats the reason why i said it still depends on the User's skills vs xOpponent. Just like how People fail on running Infinity shard when they don't know how to get rid of IDE. Nice

I wasn't sure who you were referring to when you said user's skills and gear, and of course ping, but yes, full stigma is the main reason why chanters don't stand much of a chance against some classes.

 

now that's a straight point. . . . ranger or sin is i think better to play with since it burst a lot of damage against cloth uses. . . .

 

Well, i play chanter on siel everyday and i think it is hard to play and win 1vs1.

I am over geared and the forecast to win for me is :
vs glad, sin, ranger : quite favorable, unless the player is very good and over geared
vs templar : equal match
vs sorcer : favorable unless the player is very good and over geared
vs aethertech, sw, sm, gunner : unfavorable

As the most of players are sw, sm and templ, it is hard to win 1vs1

When i win 1 match, some sw win 4 or 5. Sm same.
To be honnest, i am very frustated to play this class even if i love chanter because i can heal and dps and boost others !
But, now the server is focusing on 1vs1 because it gives all you need to up ranks and get armors.
Pvp stil stay enjoyinng with chanter but cant resist more in zerg like a templar and cant dps like a sw so it is not really fun.

New skills are not op compared to others classes but they can help a bit ...

 

Assassin comes with more survivability compared to ranger, but also requires low ms.

 

this helps me a lot in my decision of playing chanter XD . . .
