Solved Ping and Account recovery question

Hi, I'm a returning player and I was just wondering if anyone here plays from Australia? What's the ping like? The main reason I left the official NA server was because my ping would be between 400-1200 (averaging around 600ping) and that amount was just unplayable for me. Where are the servers located? I live in Sydney Aust, which server would be best for me to connect to? Is the ping any better then the NA official servers?

Also something a lil unrelated, I was wondering where/how I can recover my account, I remember my email I used to sign up, but I don't remember my account name/ID or the password I used. Is there a way I can reset it? Or have the password/account name sent to my account?

I tried using Leatrix latency fix yesterday and for some reason after installing it I got the blue screen of death over and over at the login screen of my PC. So sadly I can't use that program.

 

Then avoid that. Just use the ping reducers he suggested

In terms of ping, I usually get more than 350ms without any ping reducer. But with Battleping (AUS2 Connection) gives me roughly around 260-270ms from Melbourne. Along with Nimakin, a ping stabilizer program. My ping drops to 220-240 stably. So you can give that a go and test your speed.

 

Can you elaborate on that Nimakin more? New sound for me.

I chose to give BattlePing a go, glad I did. I tried it on the NA Official server (Gamezaion is still downloading) with a few different servers, here's the results below for others who might be interested in testing out a few different servers (Note right now the only thing I am using is BattlePing, nothing else, on wireless internet, no NBN).
PING TESTS:
Sydney 1>Texas (Alpha):
25-29ping in BattlePing
INGAME: 230-365ms

Sydney 1:
25-26ping in BattlePing
INGAME: 220-390 (average was around 280ms)

Sydney 2:
24 ping in BattlePing
INGAME: 290-320ms (average 300ms)
This is much better than what I use to have (usually a stable 600-700 ping!) I'm looking into another program I can use along side it (since I can't use Leatrix) that might make it better, Anyone have any suggestions? I'll look into Nimakin @Ollo

If you remember your email address that you registered with back in the time, you can try to log in there and use the search function (e.g. 'Gamez') to find the first email you have received from GamezAion.

 

Great idea! I thought for a second maybe I deleted the email, but generally I'm pretty good when it comes to record keeping. I did end up finding it in the end and it had my Username, but still a bit of a guess for the password haha! I've just been going through all the ones I use for games and trying to figure it out.

Oi mate @Silah from Darwin au here i use battle ping aswell and it got me 280-290 stable with nimakin aswell and thats without NBN .. So prolly and hopelly when NBN comes in my suburb it will prolly go low as 200-190ms which is fkn good ey

Thanks for the heads up! I'm about 2 hrs north of Sydney CBD. I've looked into Nimakin, however, like someone else mentioned it was all in Korean and I didn't understand a word of it on their website. Can anyone translate or walk me through the install/download instructions?
