anyone playing on retail...does aion have another end-game pvp gear during 4.9 or 5.0?
just asking coz i don't have any chance to play and no friends playing to ask about retail...

i think EA/EP set is they will add Things like the plume Acc, for Wings, soon they add acc for weaps.

 

so still EA/EP is the end-game gear? wings can be enchanted, new plumes?

Ok, so im playing retail, Aion EU 4.9 and !Aion 4.9 so I know what Im talking about, and the curent best weapon is Illumishinel's/Peitan's which u echant with using TS. While best gear is Purified Kaisinel Protector's Set/Purified Marchutan Protector's Set. U enchant it with TS too.
After enchanting them to +15 there is nothing better for PvP, cuz the stat of weapon is +25% pvp attack (when +15), and for armour its about 12% pvp def (when +15).
Bu I hope that staff of this server will not allow player to get this gear.
Remember that on retail aion you cant wear EA set.

 

and i will guess its damn hard to enchant it to +15 maybe. . . . . .

 

Forgot to add that if you fail enchant your item will be destroyed
But My friend from Barus got +10 boots and +7 hands.

 

why ?

 

Imagine. Songwaver [donator] got +15 Peitan, he is one of first who got +15 weap. He takes like 7k w/o crit from Treble Cleave, cuz he got +25% attack pvp.
Just imagine that disbalance which would be bringed to this server.

If you mean that if you got knowegle about the game, you gonna win... WAKE UP 4.0 have been updated a long time ago.
Now all you need to know is basic combo

when 4.9 comes, aion will go from bad to worse.....

 

In 5.0 we can see that NCsoft noticed that something bad is happening, and they are bringing some kind of "balance"

 

oh...so they update it very quickly to save their game ^^

 

I dont know there is big time gap between 4.9 and 5.0 in Korea so I dont think so

 

ah ok....ncsoft is hungry for powers XD . . . . . such power in game, less time to enjoy (died fast) if ur not the donator ofc . . .
