    im currently using AMD A10 7850K with ASUS R7-260X 2gb ddr5, (1866mhz) 2x 4GB RAM
im having 50-60FPS on less ppl zone but during in clashes i got 20-32 FPS, but then when i use Shift+F12 i get back to 50FPS.

In all honestly, it's a MMORPG, FPS is bound to dip regardless, don't see why it's going that low to say the least, the A10 7850K is an 'okay' APU(CPU), shouldn't really have a problem with Aion... so the only real upgrade to make there really is the graphics card. Could move up to a cheap but more than good enough GTX 950 (Nvidia) or if you want to stick with AMD, go R7-370 .. smarter choice here is the GTX 950 to say the least.

well aion is shit developed game, that means even with ultra pro pc u will have fos drop on pvp areas. u can t rlly improve aion a lot, cuz is bad as fk . ncsoft is cheap company, even on bns i know ppls with last cpu generations with 24 cores, and 4x gpu, and they still have on boss areas 20 fps lol:D

Aion only needs 2 strong cores, extra cores will not help.

I have to disagree. The 7850k is not good enough for AION. Its a 4 core cpu with 4 weak cores, and that is why he is having problems. Also your suggestion on the graphic card upgrade isn't correct for me. He already has the 260x, the difference between the 260x and the 270 or 950 is generally small, it's not worth upgrading unless you move up 2 to 3 tiers in GPU ranks, he would need an r9 280x, an r9 380 or a gtx 960, which would not help much in AION as it doesn't require a good GPU. Not to mention that if he had a good cpu he would be able to play aion with 60 fps with his current graphic card.

The only upgrade he can make is to change platform from amd to intel. I would suggest a skylake i3 or a haswell pentium g3258. Both of which will be much better than the current CPU he has. He could also buy an SSD drive if he doesn't already have one, it really helps in AION.

For you? This isn't a suggestion about what we like or not, it's about what he can upgrade within his budget to enhance his FPS not rebuild him a whole new platform :x Needless to say that the GPU he has is weak the CPU as you pointed is correct, the cores are weak, but not that weak where it wold have a problem with Aion.

And the difference between the GTX950 and GTX960 is so minimal, we're talking about Aion here , not GW2 or The Division.

Your suggestions are wise, but you've completely taken out of consideration if he can upgrade / change the entire thing or make upgrades within his current system that could help him get better frames....but if he wants to change his entire system, then any i3 + GTX 950 would be the sweet spot.

My suggestion was regarding aion, not regarding other games. He isn't going to see much /if any , improvements with a GPU upgrade for AION. His money would be better spent on a new CPU because the one he has is not good enough if he wants a smooth aion experience, while the GPU as i said is enough to run aion with 60fps in high engine if his other components can support it. The weakest component of his PC is his CPU at the moment, also he might need an SSD if he doesnt already have one.

Aion doesn't require a very strong GPU, its mainly CPU based, you can basically run aion with the integrated intel graphics if you want to (it ll lag tho), that's why i believe his GPU should suffice, i used to run aion with a worse GPU and i was still getting 60fps. The problem with games such as aion is that they become very heavy once the areas get crowded, and that's why most MMO players prefer intel (strong cores) and usually use ssd drives (loading textures and other data much faster than the conventional HDDs so the PC doesn't freeze when people suddenly jump in to your area).

Aion can run without any lag in a 500 dollar PC nowadays, all you need is a pentium or i3 and a 750ti or similiar. Any amd cpu will struggle with this game.

forgive me for being noob about gaming pc..what i don't understand is about strong cores of Intel and weak cores of AMD, and also about SSD, do i need the SSD drive to be my main drive like having the OS in it or i just need that for being my games drive where my games are stored...
