Solved Getting Stuck at Server selection

Hi there, i've installed the game and created and account. First problem occurred as gamez logon screen -insisted- that my username and password mismatches (tho i don't agree) after a long discussion i've decided to create a new account (cuz why not..) i was luckily able to pass the first level and my username and password was accepted (thank god) yet second level struck me down like a lightning.. Stucked at server selection. So would like to login with my first account if possible, otherwise can anyone offer any help please ?

 

do you use reducer try to uninstalled it and installed it again try to do it

 

As our friend said above, it may be a problem with a ping reducer program if you're using one, or maybe Firewall or Antivirus, try to turn of everything before try again.

 

yeah louy right anti virus or firewall

 

I'm not using any sort of reducer. Was trying the game on gameforge and decide to jump to a private server. after finishing the installation faced the problems mentioned on 1st post.

 

using avira as antivirus but it would have blocked gameforges aion as well if it was the reason, on firewall tho created an exception.

Are you using a 4.8 client? Did you downloaded again using the torrent?

 

I've used a post on gamez forum wich says
-Re-name aion client
-install ncsoft aion launcher
-copy former aion folder to ncsoft aion(on my case its gameforge's aion)
-start repair of ncsoft aion
-install gamez client

These are the steps i followed, and honestly i don't know how to check the client version.

 

Hmm, I guess this is the problem.
Just to be sure, go to your Aion folder and open the file called "Version", if it's not 4.8, then you'll have to download the whole client using the torrent.

I think its gonna be better to download the torrent. Thank you for the support. Will confirm you after downloading the torrent if its working or not as well.

Downloaded, now i'm able to select server and create character, thos my first account is keeps giving error of password mismatch..

 

That's because you didn't confirm/verify it. Go to your email and click on the verification link again.

 

Did that already.

 

You might want to do it again because I checked and my logs say that your account is not activated
Click on the activation link again, 2 and 3 times if you have to, and login to check if it got activated.
