I heard the soft cap of crits are 440, how true is this? What does the term soft cap mean? I have an idea what it might be but I want to be sure completely.

About crit resistance is the amount of crit resistance you have is set minus to what the opposing player have as a strike?

Where is the npc that enables you to equip Godstone? Elyos race.

Also, I'm looking for information on extendable swords, anyone know the names of any?

Does having higher magic resistance increases the resistance against certain effects like Silence, Immobilize and blind?

OKay. I have 440 crit. Buuut, thats just with gear ect.

I can make it go higher with buffs.

(Soft cap is a SOFT cap, exacty as its called.)

Say I have a 10 GB Soft cap bandwidth a month, ok?

I use all 10 GB, My ISP will limit me (SOFT CAP) My connection, to make it go slower. To where a hard cap is an immediate stop.

Trying to think of a different easier way to explain it.

    1. Heres info for crit: http://weeklyranger.blogspot.com/2009/07/understanding-crit-soft-cap.html

You'll want atleast 540-550 crit after 1.9, but you can reach this much with just food items and scroll buffs.

    2. Crit Fortitude reduces damage from critical hits on you (lowers the critical hit multiplier)
Strike Resist is the "opposing" stat to Crit Strike (1 strike resist nullifies 1 crit strike)

    4. Sword of Chaos, Kasaka's Claw, Alukina's Sword, Triroan's Sword, Lannok's Sword

    5. Magic resistance effects godstone chances as well.

Er, Crit Fortitude = Strike Fortitude, my bad.

And strike fortitude comes on the headpiece 55 equipment, not sure about how to get it outside of those though.

Question again on crit: Now if I had 440 crit strike and the other player had 195 crit resist, it would be 245 and has a lower chance of happening right? Lets say I had 664 crit strike, and the other player had the same resist. It would now become 469, would the chance rate would be equal to having 440 (1% more with the added 20 crit)?

Also the Godstone blind, how much does that reduce your accuracy?

Yes, that is why people suggest 550 crit rate, +15 equipments neglect it as they explained above.

Blind godstone almost takes your accuarcy to 0, there is no chance that u will hit your enemy, It will always miss during blindness.

Hmmm, to 0, thats quite a reduction. How about the silence godstone, is that any good?

    440 is the soft cap.

Every 10 crit = +1% chance for a critical hit.

Until you reach 440. When you hit the "soft cap" Crit starts giving you diminishing returns. After 440 crit, 10crit = 0.5% chance to land a critical hit.

So for example lets say you had 540 crit.

    your crit rate would be:

    (440/10) + (100/20)
    44 + 5 = 49%

Basically, in this sense soft cap is when you reach a certain ammount, anything OVER that ammount will be less and less.

[NOTE: The conversion of crit to crit% is a number I made up, that is not the actual conversation of crit into chance to crit]

    Silence=Magical miss
