Can't decide on new char's class

Songweaver, Gunslinger or Aethertech?

I wanna make a new character although I can't decide which class, since I was on hiatus when these classes were released.

Which is more 'fun' to use? Give me your honest opinion. No flaming please.

 

Songweaver class, OP class in the server

 

If your rich then try gunner, pretty expensive class with 3 weapons haha and pretty op too..

songweaver is for brainless players ofc u can get easy wins and its not too expensive to play very decent, but if u really want to take a fun challenge , u should make an AT or gunner

 

Hard to say which class is more fun, because depends only of you, but since you're asking for opinions, if i had to choose one of those 3, i would go for gunner, it's really fun to play and have good dps, but, if you want a challenge, play AT, because gunner and SW are easy to play.

 

listen, if you want to be an hemorrhoid in the eyelid = songweaver
a cyst in between the asscheeks= gunsliger
or if you want to be something that completely doesnt belong to aion = aethertech

Not entirely true, takes a bit of understanding and good coordination, gladiator is easier lol.

LOL that's mean and somewhat true. Next will be Ninja class.

I would say, watch a view videos of each of the classes, they're all pretty strong and good against most classes, they all have their weaknesses it's just how well you can cope with that weakness and find a way around it win <:

He just asked for opinions, for me SW is way easier to play than gladiator.

Glad has more of a difficult time staying alive unless it his a healing buddy. I find songweaver to be easiest class to play, but it can be a little challenging when trying to stay alive. Not many songweavers know how to play defense and offense at the sametime. These questions don't really work in my opinion until you test for yourself what you really will enjoy the most. While bard being the strongest class in my opinion, I still find glad to be more enjoyable.

 

best class is how happy you played it as even if you dont have decent gear as long the fun is still there that the best class

It seems to me that:

SW is like a Sorc with buffs.

Gunslinger being a magic damaging Ranger.

And AT is like a cross between Templar and Glad.

Take care of your ping also. Gunner need good ping as all but maybe more.

In opinion, you should think about your personality and what do you precisly want to enjoy in game.

Songweaver is polyvalent class : you can heal (sometimes support), lock target ( para silence, sleep, suck mana) and dps. BTW it is the main difficulty to play sw. You need do pratice chain skills and (cf luff) coordinate your skills ( like a musician lol)

Gunner is faster and need to killl faster : it is a lock class and dps only

At is a tanker : Lot of shields and resist while he can dps too. Also skill combos are limited .

For me, sw is better to enjoy because you can do all , i play chanter it is the same .

 

Ah, so SW is a chain skill type? Are gunner skills similar to a Ranger?

 

yeah there are combos to lock your target and manage time of dps. Also to heal.

I dont really know ranger. I just can say gunner need to kill fast to survive maybe like a ranger or sin except that You can't hide you.
