Client Issue Failed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x64)

How to fix this? My pc is on 64 bit but when I install this it errors

 

Seems like there are plenty of potential causes for this one. This video goes through most potential solutions:


Overall there seems to be a consensus for the following:
1. Installing windows updates first. For Windows 7 you have to have SP1, for Windows 8 they don't specify, but seem like 1 of the minor updates might be necessary.
2. Installing .NET framework 4.6 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48130)
3. Disabling 3rd party security software (antivirus/antimalware etc.) for the download and installation of the setup.
4. Syncing your PC clock with one of the available servers. As awkward as that sounds, I have run into multiple issues with windows due to clock out of sync by a small amount (like unable to join workgroup, vmware environment not communicating etc.)

If that doesn't work, let me know. There are always more options to try If anything does work, let us know what, so we can start building a knowledge base of errors/fixes again.

By the way, judging by the fact that you have Enterprise edition, I can tell your OS is clearly pirated. There were some issues surrounding pirated OS as well so that might be worth looking into.

@Nitrogenius have you tried uninstalling your previous .Net Framework versions and install the latest ones?

Or either, you haven't successfully install this prerequisite update (KB2‌999226-x64.msu).

 

I cant find that KB299926 thingy on my updates tho e.e

I saw this on one of the forums in the web. This might help you.

This is because the OS failed to install the required update Windows8.1-KB2999226-x64.msu.

However, you can install it by extracting that update to a folder (e.g. XXXX), and execute following cmdlet. You can find the Windows8.1-KB2999226-x64.msu at below.
C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\469A82B09E217DDCF849181A586DF1C97C0C5C85\packages\Patch\amd64\Windows8.1-KB2999226-x64.msu

copy this file to a folder you like, and
Create a folder XXXX in that and execute following commands from Admin command propmt

- wusa.exe Windows8.1-KB2999226-x64.msu /extract:XXXX
- DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:XXXX\Windows8.1-KB2999226-x64.cab
- vc_redist.x64.exe /repair last command need not be run. Just execute exe once again.

Windows updates - weren't working
Manually download KB2919355, this is a major cumulative update (sort of like service packs). It is also a prerequisite for .NET framework installation. If regular windows updates work, can get it there, but manual is usually quicker anyway. Do note that it is plaform specific

Install .NET framework 4.6 from here:

Reinstall Visual C++ redistributable 2015 - initially this was erroring out, then showing as installed, but it was still not installed correctly and had to remove it and install again after doing all the steps above.
(vc_redist.x64.exe for 64bit, vc_redist.x86.exe for 32 bit). You can download it here:

That was enough to get the launcher to work and for him to get all the way ingame.

 

I do not find the error before the election caracter , previously appeared gamez.dll error but not now because I installed Visual C 2015 ( x64 ) , but now the problem is on the server selection is always dc, okay I'll try the above methods first
