    I heard from an AM that supplements can be used only to some types of gears, EA/Arbiters cannot be supplemented.

    If you win Battlegrounds (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, Battle of the Gods, Rescue Prisoners Bridge) or join Infinity Shard through the Sanctum/Panda portal you get Mythic Greater Supplements too.
