Is this server playable without donating?

title. Thinking of starting, but is it possible to get all the best-in-slot gear without donating or does it take a very very long time?

i dont know how long but u need to go IS to get abbys and CM to upgrade your gear

 

you can still acquire some decent gears by just voting but it takes a long time for yah to earn it and as for donating, being a donator increases their game advantages coz they can acquire certain items so easily and unlocking some of the overly powered enchanting stuffs and rare remos that havent yet unlocked.

 

It depends of how good are u on pvp. since is a pvp server, dungeons wont help u a lot to farm items. but, here are ppls that playing for years, and now with 5.0 update they can t afford the last items from update still, so u can guess how long will takes to you. but still u can easy get some good gear for pvp.

If you want to get the best gear, you will need to vote, as mentioned above.

Every 12 hours, you will be able to vote in 5 different sites, that means you will earn 50 credits, since you will receive 10 credits per vote (if you are VIP, you will get 15 credits per vote). If you vote 2x in a day (every 12 hours) you will receive 100 credits, 100 x 30 = 3000 credits in a month.

Play a ranged character (the mages, bard, ranger) and play it well and you'll do fine even with really old gears, at least as far as 1v1 and 1v2 situations are concerned. Getting good damage for yourself is way way easier than being able to tank it. Kite/disable/nuke would be your way to go, but that only works in conjunction with and is limited by your class' capacity to control (multiple) enemies.

If you want a melee you can 1) run in and die, maybe killing 1 person 2) only do 1v1
