How about bring back Abyss PvP?

We could PvP solo in groups in alliances without being afraid getting zerged because the abyss is big enough and the safe zones (primum and teminon) cant getting camped thats it for the lower abyss. Its the same for the upper abyss because of the Harbingers Landing just up the guards and the Harbinger Protection Icons to lvl 75 and it cant be camped (thats my opinion correct me if im wrong). AND we could do sieges again (i love sieges )

Before anything, this is MY opinion; I will adress my points on the way you made the post.
First of all, just like you said, the abyss is huge, and with the population we have at the moment, that would not be a good idea since players would have to fly around a lot to find other players.
Second, having safezones already make the posibility of camping. We've put safe zones in every map that the PvP was moved to, and it always happened.
Third, the sieges you are talking about are already functional at the moment (as far as i know) so, if anyone would like to do them, they just have to go. In my opinion though, most people dont do them because of the flying PvP and thats what bring my final point; flying PvP.
Flying PvP is the worst type of pvp, specially for melee types; chasing mages in land is annoying enough, but do it while they fly? Now thats a problem, haha.

 

Hmm thats right i didnt thought about this points maybe the future of gamez aion will be standing afk in pande/sanctum like right now idk but i think there must be a change in the pvp section because im and i think more others are bored of standing afk till mixfight and and other portals spawn and to solo pvp vs a bard, sorc, sm and other classes as a gladiator or any other melee class is impossible and i just get magic classes in 1v1 bgs.

 

Not sure why everyone's expecting us to carry you guys to a different map when a lot of you guys can easily form a group and go hunting for yourselves. It doesn't take much of a effort to form a group and announce your location. The battlegrounds are too repetitive in my opinion, and could probably be adjusted a bit. It seems everyone is wanting a bit more mix fight, and I too feel waiting two hours is a bit too much since everyone has lives. I'll try talking to Carl and maybe he can do a few adjustments before the next update.

you guys need to calm down with the complaints and that I want this and want that. We're doing everything we can to make the server a little bit more alive. Carl has been working hard trying to make the server a little better for you all by giving you guys weekly updates. It might be a private server but don't expect everything to be so easy.

For the abyss pvp? No. I'm surprised someone actually recommended that. You know how much players would troll to escape death by simply clipping there wings?

 

so, your point is ...i want abys pvp cuz i can root sorc/sm and easy kill?. i personally dont like the fly pvp, cuz your skills are limited compared to battleground pvp. i've never seen the fly pvp..as a good pvp, but that s maybe cuz i played magical classes only. one thing i dont like atm, are the gp rewards, cuz i kinda lost the fun and the point of pvp. they should be given per kill, at last on ffa/mix.

 

All i want is PvP and just if it is that the times we have to wait will be lowered ill be happy i think

 

ye, but the problem is that most of maps are way to big for gamez. here should some new maps from 4.9/5.0 like idian depth , and they are not available for now. anyway more than pvp, i want stats/skills fixed so i can play my sorc again. mix is not bad at all, just some maps are to huge, and is an advantage for big groups . as about they say about to make our pvp map, by spam location here here here, i dont think it will work, cuz ppls want gp most of, and pvp not giving any.

good idea why? why should i play with 2 randoms? not even my friends? where is the fun on that part? if u want autogroup, u can join the 2v2/3v3 bg's. With auto group on every thing, u can t enjoy anymore the pvp with friends/legion mates ...etc. that s the main reason why i dont play on a Eu server, cuz these things, bscly made every1 a lonely.

 

analyzes and thinks, 2v2 or 3v3 bg etc .. time is 10 min, dont compare, I just say that I think a good idea such Mixfight..also we need a system of open pvp (portal teleports).

Sir, some players cannot go to 2v2 or 3v3 because they are unfortunate with no good gears and other good players don't want to let them join because they don't want to loose. so in 2x2 and 3v3 and others..are those only for good gear players? how about those who wants to enjoy the game?

i dont know.about you guys but the way pvp is being done in 5.0 is awesome it just need some fixing like:
1.gays who left events before the pvp starts are very annoying because the other party will also have to teleport out because theres no reward
2.mix fight should be maxium of 3 players per group only..stop goin in with your.whole race
3.respawn portals always in pvp (who wants to stand waiting for some action?arent we a pvp server?)

well in mix, 2v2..etc... the fortunate players enjoy killing the less fortunate players who have no place to hide while their HP is very low and that makes the fortunate players enjoy..

First of all, why do you have to go to Mix fight if you already know that you're undergeared.
Second, you could've just farm Abyss Points/Ceramium Medals in Infinity Shard/Hyperion or any farming battlegrounds in Sanctum.

 

spawn a portal that goes in big map that you can pvp with elyos all alone and no party..and if you die u spawn randomly ...and many mobs/monters has a drop with omega/ts or any valueble item....
