Use 2x GHP to remove COS

 

Dear get in the circumstances, he said "before I died", how can you pot out COS instantly when right after it was casted he was bursted, stunned, tumbled or whatsoever? He never said "right when the fight starts he casted COS". I've seen a lot of clerics casting COS on the last 1-10% of their enemy's HP.

Dear, I am very much into the circumstances. People keep complaining about a skill that isn't bugged and does whatever it's supposed to do. As my fellow cleric, @Destiny, mentioned, there is another way of removing Chain of Suffering starting with this patch. And that's all it is to it, dear.

 

You're taking the instance as general, my dear, the effect of COS as a whole in all places. We're talking about certain circumstances in which this skill causes an unjust advantage, specifically in mixfight, I won't argue if the OP is talking about the open world, but no, he's talking about mixfight in which was designed to respawn you INSIDE the map where it was taking place. This has been noticed by the admin themselves on battles of Two Gods, as we all know Two Gods' respawn is very much the same as mix flight, both events was meant to spawn you INSIDE the map whenever you die. With that they even send out punishments (or do they really?) to those users that were proven guilty of abusing such advantage. With regards to the "other" method you're telling, so are you expecting all users to invest in TerraSkin(?) just to get this debuff off?

 

Well in my case,a cleric used COS on me and instead of sending me back to a nearest location i was sent back outside :< and yeah the feels tsk

 

How else should I take it other than general? If you expect the developers to change the skill, keep waiting and see how that will go in your advantage. Now if you really want to do something about it other than complaining, then yes, invest in Terra Skin.

Take it as how the complaint is being discussed. This aint retail, retail has no mixfight and stuffs so private servers like this must have contingency plans when it comes to addressing customized event-related-issues. I'm not telling you to modify or remove the skill completely, if the admins were able to do the modification with regards to this skill, such that you will respawn on the same map, on other events why not on mixfight since its the current trend?

 

And how is that possible when the developers barely fix some of the bugs around here? Expecting them to change a skill only to bend according to their custom made events sounds unlikely to happen anytime soon, or ever for that matter, especially when there are real bugs to be taken care of. I don't know how familiar you are with how things are being done around here, but hoping for a change is rather pointless.

 

This is why complaints are being raised, to take notice. Your first argument was about the skill being not 'bugged' and how to get rid of it and now you're talking about how or when this skill is going to be updated/modified in mixfight, are you now agreeing with the OP?

 

From my experience around here, complaining doesn't get anything fixed. And of course we ended up talking about that when you pushed it in that direction. All I am saying is that it is very unlikely for it to get fixed, but you have the means to counter it.

 

But the issue was addressed on SOME customized events. I don't know how familiar you are with how things are being done around here, but it's the player's hope for change that gives this complaints certain good points.

 

Easy solution, just port back to mix again if you get sent to obelisk. You do realize, COS is one of those important skills a cleric has. A cleric is already limited as it is with dps skills. It's also unfair if clerics are prohibited the use of this skill.

 

Port out and get your GP count reset. Yeah, that's fair after you've been pvping for like 40 mins. The discussion doesn't meant the skill to be removed/reduced DOTS/Damage but the effect to be modified in some way in which it won't port out the target but instead, instantly respawns him/her inside the event.
