Reduce Ping for EU

I have tried this on 5 other people that have had the same problem as I had.
I can start of by describing the problem I have. In the beggining I had around 300 ping and I have a 100Mbps connection so my internet is not crap.
And after a while I started to ping 200-250, I got tired of this and tried to mix somethings up in my PC and finally I managed to fix this problem.
And I can add right now 2016-12-05 there are some problems with the ping here for so long time so if you currently have this problem you can try this but I wont say that it will work!

In my case i have 80-100 ping right now.



1) Start by going to regedit. Start > run.exe > Type: regedit

2) Browse to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces

Here you will see your network interface devices listed as random characters. The only way to really identify which one you want to modify is to click on each one and search for your IP configuration information in the right pane (ie. IPAddress > 192.168.0.100). In most cases its the upperone, the folder which has most files into it.

3. You will need to create two new entries for this interface. You can do this by right-clicking the interface in the left pane and going to New > DWORD (32-bit) Value**.

Name the first one "TcpAckFrequency" (case sensitive).
Name the second one "TCPNoDelay" (again, case sensitive).

4. As you create these, they will appear in the right pane of the registry editor. You want to double-click each of your new values and set their 'Value Data' to "1", and leave "Hexadecimal" checked under 'Base'.

5. Exit your registry and reboot.

 

Bro when i had 100Mbps and tryed to play on siel it was impossible, just get better network i changed a few months ago from 100mbps to 1Gb and i play with 30ms in game from eu to us not to mention that on eu i play with 10ms

I have 10mgb internet and my ping is 150 which is ok. delay was minimal or none lol on siel.

 

Your network bandwith isn't such important as routing of packages delivery from your pc to the server back and forth. If you open the game and check your internet usage, you will see that you don't really use much of it, 100Mbps is far enough to run Aion smoothly. The cure to solving ping issue is to lower the number of servers your signal goes through and/or changing those servers to closer ones. For example if you have two servers close to eachother in, let's say in Amsterdam, but you make your signal go through server that is in Australia, it will lower the speed of transmition alot. So if you want to have lower ping, ask your provider to change the routing of GamezAion IP. Of course it depends alot on how Gamez routes the signal but in the moment server of your provider gets the signal they can send it by shorter route. Not all providers do this but some have better routing than the others.

This is the list of servers that my Aion packages go through. As you can see on 10th hop signals go through Atlantic Ocean, since I am playing in Europe, and I suffer severe ping increase.

Also protip: Don't traceroute servers by yourselfes, I think I've got myself automatically banned...
